She willfully used her office and allowed her husband to use the power of her office as governor to persecute her sisters ex-husband.
Granted he might have been a 'bad guy' but for christ sakes what's the difference between using your office to ruin someone and using a gun?
Sarah Palin willfully and with forethought evaded or sought to evade the Public Records law in Alaska by using several, apparently, Yahoo.com email addresses to conduct Alaska State Business. Apparently she did that in an attempt to hide the fact that she was CC-ing her husband on most, if not all of her emails. Let me get that straight for everyone doubting her meanness: She apparently either encouraged or was powerless to stop her husband taking control over many of her functions as governor of Alaska! He was reportedly there at many meetings and had an unofficial 'office' in the conference room next to her's.
America is going to have a very hard time with the Palin's if she is elected. The republican party will have a tough time keeping their vindictiveness and petty revenge attacks out of the White House. It makes me wonder who else was allowed to control Sarah Palin and her 'executive functions' throughout her career! But none of that matters to the 'she's cute' and her 'first dude' is cute and hunky. Like flies drawn to a pile of dog shit, they are drawn to the Palin's and America could very well end up with it all over the White House.
But, hey... To a republican, Sarah is better than Bush. She's got a family and has nice legs and looks good in a skirt. Aside from that, the superficial, there is no difference at all.
Vindictiveness and secrecy and allowing other people to run you seem just like the previous occupant.
One thing that you have to realize is that Sarah Palin will likely BE president. How do you feel about that now? People that I know in medicine (physicians) don't hold out any hope that McCain will survive his first term. If Sarah (god chose me to be president) has anything to do with it, it will be sooner than later... And she's capable of it too...
Well, for months they have been saying that Bush and Laura are so close to divorce. They broke the Edwards is a hypocrite story. They also named the man that Sarah Palin had a sexual affair with and detailed the steps that Todd Palin took (too bad he wasn't a state trooper, ehh Todd) after finding out about it.
The Enquirer seems to be a good tool for one political party and their mainstream media...
So far, the Edwards story went into orbit and the rest have fizzled out. Every dog has it's day or only certain stories are truthy and others are true.
Great article -- I wonder when We the People will finally figure out that this particular form of racy entertainment is destructive of our national life?
Oh, and letting loose women into the White House is a good idea?
Interesting. Duly noted...
The republican witch hunt of Bill Clinton got the word 'penis' off the dirty word list. Oh, but they represent the righteous...
But I hear you. Basically, if we keep this up, the only ones fit for office will be three year-olds who haven't spilled any milk lately. But things they have done that represent their character and values should always be fair game. They do represent us, the entire country, once elected after all...
Who's to say that Obama doesn't turn out to be the perfect 'Blue Dog Democrat' and we end up in the same deep hole anyway.
If ruling out McCain because he hid the sausage with Cindy is right than it definitely lowers the bar for others entering office.
If there wasn't hypocrisy, would there even be a republican party? Or religion?
