Only

Only an ideological Blue-Dog could defend what happened under Bush with a straight face.

What I'm waiting to see is right wingers that are pissed that a 'black man' might have those draconian and unlimited spying capabilities.

Obama can't seem to get a break. I knew that he would come out of the gate defending the spying. He took the apparently meaningless action of betraying his followers on the 'Great FISA Rollover' and most of the 'Obama is a living God' types ignored it.

I think that Obama will be the same as Jimmy Carter: a one term flash in the pan who turns out to be hated by just about everyone when he leaves office. And yes, the republican that takes his place WILL be worse than He and Bush. SO, feeling used?

But the Blue Dog's are rejoicing... They got 'their man' into office. It almost makes the conspiracy theorist in me wonder if McCain and Palin weren't picked just to lose the election... As crazy as that sounds...

Obama is trying the Rovian tactic Karl employed when dealing with the 'religious' right wingers. Throw them enough meat to keep them eating and yet still hungry. Keep them distracted but also not enrage the real people that put him in office. I wish him luck because he rode an awful large tsunami of change into the seat of power...

Original article: Ask the pilot

The airlines...

Yet another American corporate clique that is being ridden into the ground by the incompetent and overpaid management teams in the quest to kill unions at all cost.

The

The GOP is like a person fighting AA. They lie, cheat, steal and lie about the entire thing.

Like a crack whore addicted to their own PR spin and lust for power... Like the stalker from Fatal Attraction who will stalk you until you admit that you love them and won't take no for an answer. It should be embarrassing but the 'liberal media' plays along like its great...

And dishonesty is thy name for the Bushist republicans...

Here is Mary Matalin blowing smoke up our asses over the 'jaw dropping Obama budget':

And Jack Cafferty blowing republicans out of the water:

As in the past when they were in power, all they have is the 'big lie'. They've said it enough that they cling to it like a drunk clinging to a lamp post... They know the sky is crimson because that's what they have said for so long...

When the truth hurts, LIE.

Consciously being dishonest is all they, and Fox 'News', have left. It boggles my mind that Obama hasn't pushed for a fairness doctrine and for more bright sunlight to clear the halls of the liars and thieves...

I think...

I think what is partially at the root of this is the republican hatred of Social Security.

They so freaking hate it, so many at the rotten core of the GOP and corporate America... It is 'robbing' the mighty corporations and 'stealing' profit that would normally go to the investors and the 'management teams'...

People you need to be aware...

The healthcare industry is failing!

Most of the 'healthcare' is being performed by emergency rooms that, due to a law passed years ago, MUST treat EVERYONE whether they can pay a penny for their care or not.

Emergency rooms are closing across this country because they are a massive liability to the hospitals that run them.

Most other physicians can 'cherry pick' those that have insurance and then choose to treat only the ones with the best insurance but a hospital Emergency Room, by law, can not do that.

Bush's quip that 'universal healthcare isn't necessary because you can go to the ER' roiled a lot of feathers in the emergency medicine community. Yeah, make it so that ER's have to see EVERYONE and then don't fund that grand plan. It's the typical 'DC Shuffle'... Look like you are doing something and then only do it half way meanwhile there are dedicated professionals that are unsure if their hospital can afford to keep their department open and endure pay cuts and short staffing on top of the increased work loads.

I'm NOT saying that ER's should be able to turn people away. Everyone *should* have access to healthcare but the government needs to step up to the line and actually FUND it too... Level the playing field: Require ALL physicians and ALL specialties (especially dentists and optometrists) to see ALL patients whether they can pay or not and I'll bet that you will see Universal Healthcare and the funding for it...

Because...

Because if you really ARE as smart as you think you are, then people will look for you for the answer or support.

Then give them what as little as you can.

Remember that is why strippers walk out in negligees and then take off the bits s-l-o-w-l-y... Hell, if they came out already nekud, where would the draw be!
