You know, what we need is talk of another 'world war'...
World War III would save Bush's ass. This coupled with the article of Bush being 'calm at war' makes me wonder if his song would change if we the people took the keys to the door of his posh underground bunkers. He'd have no place to hide when the nukes started flying.
The very idea that Bush is 'calm' while the rest of the country falls straight into the toilet should be grounds for his impeachment in a 'slam dunk' 'cake walk' perfunctory exercise in American government.
I've never been more terrified at the direction this country is headed. It's a very dark and frightening place. And Bush is certain of it.
What nearly drives me crazy is that the 'democrat' leadership could be so cavalier in handling this delusional sociopath. That so many could actually stand behind this simpleton and support his insanity is just nothing short of profoundly catastrophic!
Mukasey is blowing so much smoke up people's asses that I'm surprised that the room isn't in flames and smoldering as ashes right now.
He will be like most of the other Bushist nominees. Blow smoke, lie, posture and then rip the veneer off and turn into the spawn of Freddy Kruger.
They all have the act down well... Why anyone buys it is just bizarre.
Bush could nominate a dead cat and I'd be poking it and want x-rays and an autopsy before I'd believe it's really and truly dead.
I've read the NRC daily reports and have been shocked at the near catastrophic accidents that have been avoided 'in the nick of time'.
A nuclear plant is a very complex process. Anything that hasn't been thought of can happen and even things that have been thought of may happen and due to either inadequate testing or improper training or installation, things can get totally out of hand.
I read one report about how a plant SCRAMMED (shutdown) after a grid power failure that fed the plant. Cooling pumps shutdown. The reactor started boiling. The backup generator didn't kick on. The backup backup generator didn't kick on. The auto-scram didn't fire like it was supposed to. When the operator hit the scram button, there was a huge buildup of pressure in the reactor containment vessel. There were cracks created in some areas. The pressure release valve popped. The top of the reactor popped. The NRC deemed it a 'minor issue' because the vented steam only went into the area between the primary containment and the secondary containment vessels.
I wasn't comforted. Chernobyl was caused by a rapid buildup of pressure in a reactor and a 'three stooges' response and a series of 'small' failures.
All it takes is one!
Plus with the history of the Bushist governments MO of stacking regulatory agencies with industry lobbyists, I don't trust the NRC to run a neighborhood koolaid stand let alone this countries nuclear power stations.
I recently went on a trip to England, London exactly and found out about a number of things that I was curious about. Like 'ring around a rosy, pocket full of posies' was about the plague.
The person on the bus tour also explained the meaning of the phrase 'god bless you'. It stems, according to him, from the rotting of your brain and the dripping of 'brain juices' into your nasal cavity from your sinuses. The 'god bless you' meant that only god could have a chance of saving you now as once it got that bad, you were going to be dead in days, if not hours.
When Bush or any other faux 'religious' traitor says 'god bless America' I get a slight grin because I'm in on the joke now too... Ironically, the proof that there isn't a god is in the fact that neither he nor any of the blight wing flying monkeys have been struck dead yet although there are examples of people that have been struck 'dumb' all over the place...
The legacy of the Bushist reign as America's leaders should be noted with a postscript that acknowledges the degree that nearly all three divisions of government were taken over and politicized to an incredible degree.
It's as if there was a bloody coup d'etat on the day that the Supreme Court installed the dictator George W. Bush.
What I find frightening is the total lack of awareness of the people to what has happened and is happening.
Under the guise of 'religion', the Bushists have taken over...
So, I'm waiting: What are "the Clinton's" "crimes?"
Forcing the republicans to waste so much money and not find anything other than a stained dress...
My wife hates Bill Clinton. Less than before. She would spout and sputter about how he 'got a blow job' in the White House. But, did that effect the government of the United States? I'd say. 'Well, no but... He embarrassed America.' I think that the embarrassment was from the rest of the planet looking back at the hypocrisy of those leveling the charges and the gusto and glee that they were taken up.
Now, who's really getting screwed, OPENLY now? 'Oh, I see your point. But it doesn't make what he did right.' But it was between him, Hillary and Monica. What's happening now is effecting EVERYONE across the planet...
Bush's 'record' has helped squelch the anti-Clinton foaming at the mouth. I figure at least he had fun in the White House, before it turned into the Black House...
