This FISA hoax haunts me more with each article Glenn writes. I just emailed my Senator - Dick Durbin - and urged him to take steps to stop this madness. Yes, I know, not going to happen. We have supported Durbin for many years but since he became assistant leader he simply will not go against Reid - at least in public. I do hope Feingold, Dodd, and others will stand up and speak out. Tomorrow I will call Durbin's chief of staff in the Chicago office and at least express our opinion. Durbin is running for reelection in November. He'll win big, but many Illinois Democrats will not let him forget that he did not stand up for our civil liberties when it counted.
Wow! Let's all be sure we contact those great Democratic senators Chuck Schumer and Diane Feinstein and thank them for insuring we have good old 'independent' AG Mukasey.
