And they will love every moment, as they dance in the ailes.
If their husbands are wise they will take them.
In other words, this review will not make a difference. I was expecting a couched review like in the Times for a film that will be a blockbuster.
Why aren't these Clinton supportus demanding Clinton as VP? Assuming McCain dies in office shoudl he win it would lead to a clear path back to the White House for Mrs. Clinton.
You can't change your mother, only how you react to her. The best I can do is identifying with how someone is feeling and if I am good echo their feelings back to them. You might be surprised how well this works. Most people have a great need to feel as if they have been heard.
What do you do when someone is whirling like a dervish? Let them whirl.
COngrats on the cancer and good luck!
but the Republicans do nothing but repeat ad nauseum their talking points.
I have to just echo others. I am horrified about what is happening, but am glad you are staying on top of it.
All they will do this weekend is talk about how "awful" this ad is, and how low. And it will be shown 12,357 times for free.
The media seems to love Lieberman - I've never really understood why he gets the exposure he does. Lods knows its not benefitting his contiuents in any way, nor does it reflect our opinions.
And way to show loyalty - Barack Obama campaigned for Lieberman during the primaries. I am hoping that the election will be a rout for the democrats and Lieberman can move back to obscurity.
And in a few weeks we'll hear of his death - no autopsy.
He'll soon meet up with his old friend Ken Lay.
I thought he was a good President. I was ready to vote for Hillary if she won the primary. But the tactics used by Hillary Clinton, particularly the "kitchen sink" has really changed my opinion of her. I am particularly disturbed by her filing for Hillary 2012 - it makes me think that she (and Bill) are trying to undermine Obama's success.
I doubt I will vote for her ever.
I'm done with HRC. I don't care when she plans to run again. I'm not voting for her. This whole rally and roll call business is very Liebermanesque. Its all about her - not the party, not the country.
and I plan on reading the book. I was moved by his candor and humility. Nowhere in the piece did I detect him saying how great he was for having gotten sober.
I've long enjoyed his columns in the NY Times.
Nothing worth reading there.
It alays amazes me when people think they sway others by badgering them.
The 60's shows were way gay. Just watch a few episodes of Bewitched - the hand motions alone are a tell. Of course my favorite character is the big drag queen played by a woman - Endora.
I also agree that not all buddy pics are gay in disguise. For so many men after the war their old service buddies were their best friends. My father is still in touch with many that are on this earth.
She can get the good drugs now.....she won't have to steal them.
Is a good example of how the right wing noise machine works. She thought she understoon exactly what happened and did not bother to explore any further, even tho this is "her" candidate they are talking about.
After reading this piece, I tought, I wish I had majored in bullshit in college - there seems to be so many opportunities for BAs.
Trowelling?
I'm tired of their sense of entitlement, disguised as concern for "their" voters.
I can only hope it blows up in their face. I was for years a Clinton defender, but I'm done now. And for the record I've been registered a Republican, Democrat, Independent, Democrat.
This is a good piece and I hope Senator Clinton reads and takes it to heart. Prior to the primaries I had tremendous respect for Senator Clinton. I was quite impressed with the job she did winning over the upstate New York voters and donors. No simple task when you consider all the antipathy the "other" New York has for metropolitan New York City.
My opinion of Senator Clinton has significantly declined, particularly since the "kitchen sink" strategy, the non-concession concession speach, and the mixed messages since. Her behavior suggests to me that she is interested mostly in herself, not the party, not the country.
If she were to follow your advice, emphatically do everything she could to support Senator Obama, it would go a long way in my mind of repairing my opinion of her. If she persists on her current course I will never support her.....ever.
The socialization of risk has severely punished me. My standard of living has been effectively reduced by the bailouts of the banks, mortgage companies, mortgage traders, hedge funds, investment banks. These bailouts are only delaying the inevitable. Let's pull the band-aid off fast, rather than a hair at a time.
One interesting observation - how come no hedge funds have gone belly up from the decline of oil?
Comcast just moved MSNBC to the digital cable package...I wish they had moved Fox News instead.
Now just make sure it happens.
A real Winning ticket!!!!1!
It would sow FL up for McCain. The Neocons woudl be 100% behind it. The far right would sit it out, but in exchange McCain gets the moderate vote. The press would hail it as revolutionary and the the end of partisan politics.
and they get to set the expectations for the Democratic Convention?
