Immunity Challenge
[Read the article: TV Daily]

Libertyson

Jan needs to quit drinking
[Read the article: Our friend got drunk and went to a hotel room with a bunch of Marines]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Besides the obvious drinking to a blackout, placing herself and other at risk, she exhibits other behaviors of an alcholic, namely, refusing to take responsibilty for her own actions.

Speak honestly with your wife
[Read the article: I'm a bisexual Christian husband and father]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I have known a number of bisexual men; some that keep it a secret from their wives and some that have disclosed all. If your wife cannot deal with the ambiguity of the situation then I think you need to respect her wishes for a divorce. My experince would suggest that once the genie is out of the bottle you cannot put it back in. Even tho you have the best of intentions your sexuality will come out sideways. That thing that kept you from meeting that guy will dissipate and suddenly you will be doing these you promised you would not.
I've had sex with men like you. I've asked what the wife thinks - usually she does not know. I ask if they think its cheating. Amazing almost all the guys have convinced themselves that they are not. Men are providing for them what their wives caanot is what I've been told.
Whatever you do please practice safe sex - remember, you're dealing with men.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The drumbeat to war started on Monday with William Kristols column. With this column from Friedman I think we will have a steady diet of pro-war propanganda thruogh the summer culminating with an attack on I raq in the Fall.

Don't do it
[Read the article: Both Dem campaigns deny CNN's talks story]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't think HRC would be a good candidate for VP. I don't think she complements the ticket and she has significant negatives with the electorate.

How many angels
[Read the article: Why not let Clinton keep the four Michigan delegates?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How many angels can you fit at the end of a pin?
How many of them are for Obama? Howa many for Hilary?
Can we get over this already? I need to get back to contemplating my navel.
-
Keep it simple sweetie
[Read the article: What to expect when you're expecting inflation]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Rising prices + stagnant wages = lower standard of living
This is the fact that few recognize at this point, and I doubt our "leadership" will point it out. In real terms the adjustments that people are making to deal with rising prices - taking the bus, buying a smaller car, a smaller house, less stuff - reflects a lower standard of living.
I am not a debtor. I have been totally screwed by these policies. And I don't have the attention span of a gnat.
-
I like Obama more every day
[Read the article: Reid: "Lieberman is an important vote for this caucus"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Even if there is nothing to be done with Lieberman Obama has let him feel the heat.
If they're trying to imply that Clinton could be McCain's VP candidate, that's rich. I'd love it - guaranteed win for Obama. And fitting for those folks that participated in Rush's Operation Chaos. Many people wen democrat to vote for Hillary in the primaries fully intending to vote for McCain in the fall.

Go back to full italian
[Read the article: Ask the pilot]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Go back to your full Italian name, Patrick. We eventually learn to pronounce it correwctly. I live in CT, home to the second largest (per capita) Italian population in the US. I grew up with the Santapeitros, Supersanos et al. The best part is they sound exactly as written.

This thesis appeals to...
[Read the article: Market crashes. Dow down 400 points. Blame Obama]

-
Sinking ship metaphor
[Read the article: Going down with the Titanic?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What I dislike about Chris Matthews' framing of the candidates is we are all on teh same ship and it does not have to sink. I think more than anything it articulates his opinion of McCain.
I do think there are some paralells with our times and the Titanic though. When the ship sailed the price of a first class ticket did not cover the costs of providing those services; the steerage passengers subsidised the first class passengers. Just like our current tax policies - we at the lower end of the spectrum cover the costs of the government.

Neocons can smell opportunity
[Read the article: The mystery of Obamacon-ism]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]My guess is that some are hedging their bets by semi-supporting Obama, the better to stay close to power.
Better to be in the house with wet shoes, rather than outside in the rain, no?
-
Some people don't know when.....
[Read the article: Penn spreads the blame around]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Some people don't know when to shut up, and this applies to Mark Penn. The more he tries to avert blame, the more scrutiny he will receive. And the Clinton Campaign - Mark Penn - treated the press like crap.

[Read the article: Russert dead from apparent heart attack]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]An embolism is a blood clot that has usually migrated from another part of the body and blocks blood flow to the heart. I had an aunt that died of a pulmonary embolism IN THE HOSPITAL. Once the heart is denied oxygen the muscle tissue rapidly dies and there is nothing that can be done.
