  • Winnipeg Goldeyes

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]

I watch the Winnipeg Goldeyes a few dozen games a year in the ever shrinking Northern League. We have had a few players like Sherill, Bobby Madritsch, and Zimmerman move from Winnipeg to the bigs, but most of the time it's a motley collection of minor leauge wash outs and guys clinging to the dream. But the baseball is fun, the stadium is beautiful, it draws 6000 fans plus a game, more than a lot of triple A clubs, and let's us enjoy our too brief summer.

King Kaufman, you should venture up here and do a series of stories on the Northern League. (Plus you can take in some CFL action)

I've never seen any of his movies, but I admire anyone that can abuse German tax credits to give the world the bad video game movies it needs.

  • Over?

[Read the article: Obama: "We have returned to Iowa with a majority of delegates"]

The next couple of months could see the strange spectacle of Obama running a campaign against McCain, while Hilary wages a gurilia war from the sidelines.

  • Next Time

[Read the article: Viva Hillary Clinton!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Well if this whole Obama/Clinton mess has proved anything is that next time an election rolls around it is time to revert back to only having white guys to pick from. This whole woman/black guy thing has been nothing but trouble.

  • Big Deal?

[Read the article: Edwards: "Being 99 percent honest is no longer enough"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In the grand scheme of things an affair is nothing compared to the real issues facing the world, but for those that are just ignoring it and saying no big deal I think that is wrong too.

Anyone running for President of U.S.A and thinking that in this day and age they can keep an affair secret is just plain stupid and arrogant. I liked Edwards, if I was not Canadian I would have voted for him, but it seems the Dems and the U.S dodged a bullet because Edwards showed he was clearly batting above his average by trying to be President.
