Bonestorm said: at least one of these 2 things is true

On August 3, 2008 Bonestorm got to the bottom of this story: The second part is the ONLY true we know thus far. All the rest is "a lot of noise to confuse everybody," which is called "disinformation.

Dowd and all her critics here

I bet you all are female, English majors who never wrote any major book.

Stephanopolous, Bon, Tom

Stephanopolous is for the "pits." Among the four mentioned maybe Bob or Tom COULD have seen GREATNESS but Bob is a friend of Bush father and Tom "plays to the establsihment," which has been the correct thing to do to survive in the American Media.

Clarification re: "social workers" by CarlynC

Social Workers, Psychologists, or Psychotherapists in the USA know nothing since this country "killed Freud" back in the 60s. Nevertheless, to get a PhD in Psychology, Who do you have to study? Freud. It is amazing how on one side the Master of the field is key to learn but avoided altogether in the practices. You go to one in the USA and they give you books and talk to you. THAT if they don't fall asleep or prefer the 'brainstorming sessions" where they make much more money for the minute spent. They do NOT elicit questions and guide you so that you (the patient) "bring up to light" your own hang-ups or traumas. They do not do so because: 1) they don't know. 2) It is hard work. 3) They have to continue studying.

Stephen Hatfill & Kafka's "The Trial."

I sadly saw the movie when I was 11 years old. Believe me when I say that I understood it too well. At that early age I thought that it can happen to me. It did happen to Stephen Hatfill. People who are posting comments here PLEASE Google his name and be fully away of the HELL he went through. Maybe he's still there with $X millions or with less.

It does matter..and a lot

The Right Wing is always preaching morality and so does McCain. For all I care about many people might have remarried the same way Giuliani, McCain, or Gingrich did: Leaving their previous wives at the worse moment in their very patient and caring previous wives' lives. Some of the candidates or their pundits of the Right Wing simply don't care when they take their wows, some are or have been alcoholics, or addicted to "pain-killers." All these are OK? Why? No wonder we have a penal system whereby accidents while drunk are not penalized as severely as other crimes. Being a hypocrite is REALLY BAD: They are in negative-lying-destructive (of others)-mode and McCain will use us the same way the same way the “other” self-indulgent has destructed our economies for a long, long time.

@Hillary die-hards women

You are either childish, lesbians, republicans, or a combination of any of the previous three.

Original article: Knock it off, Paul Begala

Campbell Brown instead of Paula Zhan, Why?

Campbell Brown has admitted on Air that she really wasn't prepared for her job at CNN. She got it because, at that time, Lou Dobbs had all the power at CNN and wanted to get rid of Paula Zhan. I couldn't believe when Campbell misconstrued Begala's words and acted in such a puritan way. However, you know what they say about the people who want to appear in such a puritan way when nobody sees them, Right? She would be fooling around with anybody behind her husband’s back. No morals, no ethics.

@Zyskandar A. Jaimot

Salon is a great place to learn. You are INVITED to comment and the Editors are very kind to let you post anything, even stupitities. However, even with Freedom of Speech and the kindness of Salon's Editors you are out of line and high on coke, crak, or some other bad thing for you and for the rest of us.

Well-Breeding

That people who claim to have been pro-Hillary remember Stephanie and still say they'll vote for McSame is a crime?

@maureenodonnell: Ivy League

I can assure you that if you're very smart you don't need to be a US Citizen to get into any Ivy League University. You don't need money either: The Universities do provide you with the money and THAT bothers most, if not all, "blue--collar" white/black/asian/hispanic American parents of the no-so-smart kids but whose parents keep blackmailing teachers in High-School to get As or else.....This is probably one reason why so many "white women" are "skeptical" of Obama. However, one can see how great he did afterwards to make an induction that he did everything with his own effort, same as Michelle. So please, don't bark upon the wrong tree or better yet: Don't bark!

Republicans and Handouts

The Republicans and the Republican Party has always used the line that they pay too much in taxes and others (mainly minorities but now the scapegoat illegal immigrants) get free handouts. If I were to count what I had paid in taxes over the years and received in services I could have gotten the best private services of everything. That is the way ALL Republicans talk and I know some that should shut up because they don't make that much and just pretend they do. Some people want to be Republicans because it looks "cool to be rich," as if being a Democrat means being poor. What these Republicans do have in common is IGNORANCE.

@sonofloud

You get confused with links, data, information, and knowledge. Talk to your elders, get some wisdom and then blog.

@redkimba

So you, PUMA, the other one, many of the Hillary supporters will vote for Mccain because of the DNC mishandling of the Primary? You all don't care about the millions in Iraq who left, have lost members of their families, have no money, cannot return, etc? You all don't care about ANY progressive issue that Hillary and Obama have in common that McCain is against? You are all so clueless, cruel, careless? I see, I understand: You are all mono-issue.
