[Read the article: What should Hillary Clinton do now?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I did put out a comparison. I had been calling for Clinton as VP for weeks now. But after examining her activities of the last several weeks i actually now think it would be bad. My reasons are the reason in that comparison. They have to do with qualities I would value in a president.

I am not calling her names. I am not calling her supporters names. I am not saying she's vile and evil. I actually defended that "whiet working class statement" as a probable misspeak.

As i said you cannot find a letter by me that is nasty or vitrolic toward Hillary or her supporters. Find one.

I dislike when Hillary supporters are rude but to be fair I also dislike when Obama supporters are nasty and ungracious. I don't like it no matter which team its coming from. Especially at this point in the game. Its almost over for christ's sake.

McCain = More Bush = More War the U.S. cannot afford = Higher Oil Prices = Greater Food Prices= Deeper Recession/Depression = total economic destruction of the USA

Hastened Armageddon = The Return of their Messiah

This is NOT rocket science. I sure hope Obama makes this VERY VERY Clear in the general election. I think many "regular" people have never thought of it.

MESSAGE: They say they want Obama to scare folks into voting for McCain. With McCain comes (see above).

I think the we should roll video tapes of Al Quaeda and that Iranian dude saying that they want to engage us in a war to bring on Armageddon. I'm sure its out there. Then emphasize that's what you get when you vote for McCain. I think it would be powerful.

    Creepy indeed.

No, I am aware of the nuance. I know its not Muslims but the extremists. That's why i avoided the term Muslims.

And yes I am also intimately familiar with the Hagee crowd. The difference is (and i'm not defending them) they are not starting wars to hurry Jesus' return, although they do believe in that final good vs. evil battle.

I was just using generalities that i think normal (or i think i said regular folks) "get". Like it or not, most Americans do go to church and these are familiar terms for them.

However its said, I think Obama should be prepared to address the charge he'll get from the right that they prefer him because he's soft and will make it easier for them to attack us. This (we know) is a lie so he needs to prepare for what he will say when the charge comes.

Now, if there's a terrorist attack on overseas, he can say SEE? We're not safer. If it happens here, well, we know what that means.

  • It won't matter but

Quit arguing with people who say they will vote for McCain if Hillary doesn't get the nod.

They are either Republicans trolling to make us scratch each other's eyes out, or they TRULY believe and want to do what they are saying they will do. They are willing (for whatever reason) to vote against their own interests. Its like trying to convince a suicide bomber who is strapped up and ready to detonate that his religion is false and that he doesn't have to detonate himself. It cannot be done. They are invested and that's that.

So let them go. Encourage them to vote fro McCain. Wish them well. You cannot and will not change their minds. It doesn't matter anyway.

  • Yeah, I'm from FL

and I won't be pissed off and skip voting. That's absurd. If anything its THE opportunity I would have to have my voice heard. Why would I sacrifice that? Its the republican legislature and governor who screwed us. And if I have anything to do with it, they'll be gone next tim around, believe that!

BTW I'm a registered independent who couldn;t vote in the primary because we are a closed primary state. IF i knew this race would have been counted I would have gladly changed my affiliation and voted democratic and for Obama in the primary. Unfortunately, I got NO VOTE.

Your solution to the MI and FL delegate debacle sound interesting. Why not email it to your representative or the DNC or the rules committee. Sometimes these politician have a way of not being ABLE to think outside the box. I personally would like to se a resolution to this that feel fair to all sides and penalizes the right people.

You suggestion may be something additional for them to consider that perhaps they haven't.

  • Vote for McCain

    Go ahead. We don't care.

    Best wishes.

(All others, please stop arguing with so-called Hillary supporters who say they are voting for McCain. They are entitled to do that and you cannot change their minds. Rather, you should be comforted to know that they are probably not Hillary supporters at all. They are republican trolls sent to make us feel demoralized about the party ever becoming unified - the greatest threat to McCain's candidacy. Don't fall for it. And if they really are Clinton supporters who are choosing that choice (which I frankly don't believe), let them go. They can vote however they want. Don't waster your time.
