Black American's fantasy about Jews

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The vile anti-semitism among American Blacks is equal to and sometimes worse than the hatred of Jews in Arab countries. Jews account for less than 2% of the population in America. They are teachers, lawyers, accountants, doctors, salesman, computer programmers, etc., etc. Jews do not head the oil companies, pharmaceutical companies, automobile companies, or major manufacturers and are normal, every day citizens in normal every day jobs. The President and Vice President are not Jews, neither is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court or the Speaker of the House of Representatives. There is no candidate running for President who is Jewish, but yet Blacks intensely hate Jews FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. When Tim Russert asked Obama about Farrakhan Obama did respond correctly about healing the breach between Blacks and Jews but how can you heal the breach when you sat there for twenty years hearing your pastor attack Jews and you kept silent? If Hillary Clinton or John McCain were enthusiastic members of a church for twenty years that constantly and openly demeaned and debased Blacks with vile hateful rhetoric do you really believe the Democratic and Republican parties would allow them to be their nominee? There is a double standard and the Pied Piper of Chicago is getting away with something no white politician who sat idly by while their pastor`s anti-semitic rantings continued without end would ever be granted a pass on.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]If a White senator sat in his church for twenty years listening to his minister make vile anti-black racist remarks and described the minister as his friend and mentor and inspiration for a book he wrote how do you think the Black community would respond? With justifiable outrage! And the White community would join them in being angry! It is disgusting that Blacks find nothing wrong with vile anti-American and anti-semitic rantings from their churches but scream racism every time they feel they are denied something they did not earn and do not deserve. Bigotry and hatred towards another people, or religion is wrong no matter what shade your skin is and I cannot vote for anyone who sat by silently for twenty years and did nothing to voice any opposition to the hate filled sermons they heard. It's very nice that Obama made such an eloquent speech but where was he BEFORE he ran for president? Why was it okay for him to keep totally silent all that time??? That is not leadership or having the courage of your convictions.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]We want the person we select to be our president to have the courage of their convictions. Barack Obama does not. For twenty years he sat silently in his church while his pastor made dozens of hate filled sermons about America and Jews. When you sit silently as your pastor accuses your government of creating the HIV virus to kill your people and makes repeated and vile anti-semitic remarks then you are just as guilty for sitting there and doing nothing to voice your opposition. It took Obama twenty years to come forth and try and distance himself from the hate filled remarks and the ONLY reason he did so was because he is running for President. I am Jewish and I was an Obama supporter but I will vote for McCain if Obama is the Democratic nominee in November. I want to vote for someone who, whenever they hear hate filled rhetoric directed towards Blacks, Whites, Jews, Hispanics, Gays, Asians, or any other group speaks up then and there and does not
wait for a time when they are forced to do the right thing for their political career.
