I hate to post an echo of everyone else, but maybe the sheer number of complaints will make a difference. The new site design is horrible. My main complaint is that it's impossible to use. You can't tell which articles are new and which ones are old. Some new articles are at the bottom of the page, while articles that are several days old appear near the top. New articles show up, then vanish, then appear again.
If it wasn't for Salon Mobile and my Bloglines subscriptions, I would probably stop reading Salon altogether. Unfortunately for you, I don't see most of the ads that way.
