@ Old Joe

You refuse even to believe a respected member of the 9/11 Commission.

There is nothing more that can be said.

re: Who is behind it all Scorpio?

You are asking me to draw a conclusion without the benefit of a proper investigation and trial.

What is clear is that the official version of events, as Mr. Farmer's book shows, is a pack of lies.

Since that is the case, we have to start back at square one. Also, since that is the case, we cannot rely on anything the government might say. They have no credibility.

Now, it is certainly a pity (or criminal conspiracy) that the decision was made to dispose of the most vital eveidence from the towers themselves before any forensic analysis could be done, but, as I previously posted, the fact that WTC-7 also fell as if it were a controlled demolition proves that the aircraft slamming into the towers was not the causal factor in their collapse.

Joe, ask yourself: What, of all of the "evidence" presented by the government prior to the invasion of Iraq, still stands up to any scrutiny?

None. Zero. Zip. Nada. It was all a giganitc fabrication to take this country to war.

No WMDs. And they knew it.

No Iraqi ties to al Qaeda. And they knew it.

No Iraqi involvement in 9/11. And they knew it.

Lies. All lies.

Yet you cannot make the logical leap to believe that a government that would so blatantly lie us into an endless "war on terror" could also have had some part in the event that precipitated that war.

Incredible.

re: Did Mr Farmer who was a Senior Counsel and Team Leader include the fact that the lies were told in the Report?

Only subsequently.

re: If not, why?

You'd have to ask him. But he has at least grown a conscience since then.

re: If he was not satisfied, why did he not resign publicly and cast doubt on the Commission prior to the release of the report?

Again, you'd have to ask Mr. Farmer.

The publisher of the book, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, states:

-

Farmer builds the inescapably convincing case that the official version not only is almost entirely untrue but serves to create a false impression of order and security.

A respected member of the 9/11 Commission has revealed that the government's version of events "is almost entirely untrue". As in, a pack of lies.

Since this is the case, anything the government might say on the subject is suspect. The key witness for the prosecution has had their integrity thoroughly impugned. They are not credible.

Game over.

P.S.

re: cleaning up, covering up the investigating

As noted in an article in The New York Times from December 25, 2001, entitled "Experts Urging Broader Inquiry In Towers' Fall":

-

…some structural engineers have said that one serious mistake has already been made in the chaotic aftermath of the collapses: the decision to rapidly recycle the steel columns, beams and trusses that held up the buildings. That may have cost investigators some of their most direct physical evidence with which to try to piece together an answer.

Imagine: The biggest crime scene in American history inexplicably swept clean before any real forensic analysis can be conducted!

And let us not forget that Biush did not want any investigation of 9/11; and when that wouldn't fly, initially wanted to appoint the war criminal Henry Kissiger(!) to head the "investigation".
