Censorship, Salon-Style

Apparently, my first post was deleted because I referred to Hillary with the "B" word.

Read this, then tell me she doesn't deserve it:

Hillary the Hawk

The Democrats’ Athena only differs from Bush on the details

http://www.amconmag.com/2006/2006_03_27/cover.html

Her unrepented vote authorizing Dubya to commit mass murder in Iraq is enough for me to want to see her frog-marched to a war crimes trial.

She deserves NO respect, Salon.

@ Xrandadu Hutman

re: "I am glad that Salon deleted your post referring to Hillary as the "B" word. If you want to insult Hillary, use a gender-neutral term, like "butthead." Because anybody can be a butthead!"

You mean, like you?

You're just another fascist censor -- this time, basing it upon politically-correct speech.

Ugh.

Why do you hate America so much?

Bill of Rights

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Before everyone gets too big a hard-on for Obama...

re: "All countries will consider the use of military force if circumstances require it."

Tell me precisely what set of circumstances warrant sending someone's kid -- perhaps yours -- to die in Iran?

@ CeliaInSF

So let me get this straight: You have no problem with Salon deleteing a post that referred to Clinton -- a politician, for God's sake -- using the "B" word?

You're just another fascist!

Remember that this same woman gave Bush the green light to commit mass murder in Iraq and has never repented of that action. She is, additionally, in lockstep with Israel and has never spoken out about their horrible mistreatment of the Palestinian people.

I could go on, but the fact is we're talking about an accomplice to mass murder and the most severe repression of human rights here.

She deserves NO respect.

Betchya if I'd called Bush a "B" no one would be whining or censoring!

@ Cindy Lou826

re: "Maybe she should cross lines & run with John McCain!!!"

That would be most appropriate, since she shares his knee-jerk support for Israel and his vote to allow Bush to commit mass murder in Iraq.

re: "She was a WOMAN running for President"

Women will take a giant step toward true equality when they stop whining and playing the victim role.

Hillary lost not because she was a WOMAN, but because she STUNK to high heaven. She is a despicable warmonger and a bought-and-paid-for mouthpiece for AIPAC.

@ Alkaline

re: "Having my country attacked by Iran would do the trick."

And the chance of that happening is ZERO.

So, why all the hysteria about Iran? Hmmm?

The politicians -- including Obama -- are all dancing to AIPAC's tune on Iran. Iran poses no threat to the United States. It has never threatened us in any way.

It's our politicians knee-jerk support for Israel that is the biggest threat to our country.

re: "Can the same not be said for Obama"

He's edging awfully close to it.

Unlike many of you, I have no particular faith in this country's politicians or political process.

As far as I can see, the MIC runs the show no matter who sits in the White House.

re: "the chances of Obama invading Iran are about the same in the absence of such an attack"

With AIPAC calling the shots in Washington, don't bet on it.

Obama is groveling before them already.

@ Karenn22

Hillary stinks.

Why can't you digest that simple fact?

re: WTC-7

I'm no expert in such things, so I'll defer to them in the matter.

My questions re: 9/11 are more philosophical in nature.

Let us assume that the official version of events is accurate, i.e., planes crashed into the WTC, etc.

Q: Since the suicide pilots were killed instantly, they could not have known that their actions would cause the WTC to collapse. Indeed, if they had done their homework, they would have known that the buildings were specifically designed to withstand the impact of an airliner. So, as far as they could have possibly foreseen, they were at best putting a couple of very big holes in the towers (and destroying two airliners full of people).
