The Religion of MMGW and Liberalism itself

The science of GW is murky at best. Each side has huge vested interests that can subsidize various views and certainly the IPCC is filled with all matter of conflicts of interest and incentives (global wealth redistribution for example) to be completely corrupt.

20% of the population thinks the Sun revolves around the Earth, these are the backdrops that make the pro-MMGW crowd opportunity. Since the variables are great and uncertain the false science logic of "prove us wrong" is substituted for real evidence beyond easily spun and ever adjusted "models". As if psychology was an equally logical and certain science to physics or mathematics. The Earth is actually in a cooling cycle, largely unpredicted since 1998. Does it mean anything longer term? No, but it illustrates the hyperbole of MMGW predictive powers. The politics of pro-MMGW are very clear, statism is supported globally by a crisis culture that distributes power from individuals and private interests (a basic liberal goal on most everything) to those who only have the minor goal (through taxes, regulation and redistribution of wealth) to save the world. Proto typical socialist arrogance enabled by international opportunism as well. How many donor interests are there in cap & trade and how many expect to receive benefits? America the first enemy of the agenda.

Strong belief in unquantified forces on faith is indeed a religion for some. Many know better and rationalize the act

as politically expedient. The parallel to Nazi/Communist "science" trends of the last century are sadly noted among the guilty and a study of Eugenic extremism of the later 19th century and all it twisted to over decades should be considered as well. Mass distortion of science with many motives and players is nothing new.

Fashist Inclination in the left?

Look no further than this board;

(to lock them all up, like the Holocaust deniers in Germany and the UK)

You don't have a single number or formula relationship, total speculation dressed as science and the grab for authority begins?

fascist of course, as the moonbat corrections might be preempted

...I know how this goes.

Climates Change....

but causation is the leap that justifies the act. Of course it breaks down against individual vs. collectivism.

Study is worth while but science is proved not simply speculated.

Get clue....even your chart shows the trendline

http://www.dailytech.com/Temperature+Monitors+Report+Worldwide+Global+Cooling/article10866.htm

Try this one it's more narrow and focused.

Cooling, means nothing as a broad trend claim. Shows no causation but it is a fact.

About Climate Change

I have no doubt there is "change" but I'm not a simple minded spectator at an ancient Aztec harvest human sacrifice. If we throw children into a pit it might coorelate with a good crop but doesn't cause one.

Rather than invest money wisely into the impacts of change we must waste our resources on the effort to change the climate do to moonbat agenda and claims. We kill 300 Polar Bears a year since the population has doubled in 30-40 years but we ban oil projects that might only impact a few dozen adversly. We're talking about trillions in malinvestment on cap and trades. Effectively, millions will suffer underdevelopement from lower growth chances and economic abuse. There will be fat cat winners in the fraud but the poor of the will suffer the most.

The irony of socialist thinking, it makes society more elite despite every claim to the contrary.

So now ocean temp is the center of universe?

How many ways can you have it? Aren't the oceans impacted by your trend claim or are you claiming warming really causes cooling?

It's all a topic change, the trend line since 1998 is cooler. It's a fact not a hyperbolic claim of causation, disaster or anything else. Is it key that the MMGW crowd debates dishonestly to achieve their goal?

Arrogance in full display

Liberals define "science". If you are against "science" if you're against liberal/socialist agenda setting.

It's a Fascist article that follows a largely evil and Fascist movement.

Let's forget about hurricane or earth quake relief, let's bet the farm on "prevention". It's moonbat agenda even if you bought into the premise of man making a big difference in the climate.

The irony.....

http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/galileo/galileoaccount.html

Is that the side that always thinks itself intellectually superior, in command of the facts, looks more like the establishment that Galileo and others faced. He couldn't prove mathmatically that the Earth did move around the sun by the way. There really was no conclusive proof at the moment.

The essence of science is proving a positive not defending a hope for political reasons. It's clear the MMGW mob is too invested in the desire to control, tax, ration to consider the loss of logic in the absolutism of man made warming.

If large number of the science community claimed a near term asteriod impact based on statistical noise would it catch on as well? The argument could be made for massive investments in technology such as nuclear, ballistics etc. for such a probability. It's sure to happen, would the left support the hope that this research could "save the Earth"? Not likely, it would support all the wrong interest groups. Right now everything from Vegans to every top down planner has a stake in MMGW. It's all been made to fit eco extremism, note the silence for the most part on nuclear build out, it's all pie in the sky "solar" and "wind" for the fantasy vote of the left that cares so much to take something away then consider the math or facts. Asteriods are not self-induced "sin" that could mandate the levels of social control that MMGW religion can command.

"My dear Kepler, what would you say of the learned here, who, replete with the pertinacity of the asp, have steadfastly refused to cast a glance through the telescope? What shall we make of this? Shall we laugh, or shall we cry?"

There isn't a shread of fact to link CO2 to causal GW. Other factors are likely far more important than an abstract as if the Earth was enclosed by glass.
