If You Bothered To Read...

...the details behind 9/11, you'd know that the evidence of government complicity is compelling.

Hitler was an inept bungler, too. They stage managed most of his appearances and got away with it because nothing was televised live.

Things ARE unravelling for this administration, but they are not without their supporters in the financial and oil industries. We are by no means out of the woods yet.

Inept? From a governmental standpoint this administration has been a bonanza for a few corrupt businessmen and politicians. Cheney has made a mint off of this inept nutjob in the Whitehouse. And so has the inept nutjob's father.

If you looked at the Gulf Coast/Katrina problem from Karl Rove's perspective, you'd see the political bonanza -- the strongest Democratic stronghold in the country has been shattered and scattered to the four winds -- no more concentration of poor, black Democrats on Gulf Coast anymore.

What is absolutely stupefying is how BLIND the whole country is to how a paper-thin majority of Republicans were able to completely destroy the functioning of the American government. These same "inept" criminals then place blame on the government they've destroyed as to the source of the problem, and a considerable majority of people actually believe them.

If any of you were as smart as you think you are, you would have been in the streets long ago instead of carrying water for these corrupt imbeciles.

Instead, you sat at home just like the German people did when Hitler took over. Fat, dumb and happy. Whether your neighbors were getting laid off by the busload, or not. Whether your bloated children were smoking crack provided by the CIA, or not.

You Ooze PTSD from Your Every Pore...

...so you regularly abuse whomever you like. It goes with the territory of unresolved trauma. I know both sides of the issue.

If you ever get tired of living a life of looking over your shoulder, there are resources you can call on. But you have to want it more than you want the divorces, the busted relationships, the job stress and the health issues. Oh, and the depression and pain, too. You have to want to be rid of that stuff, too.

I quit my addiction to horror flicks in 1995 after the OKC bombing and my brief marriage went into the can. Real life is plenty scary.

Are you aware of the SERIOUS attempt on the part of key rich industrialists in the US to overthrow the government...back in 1932? These were the same fellows who were laundering money to Hitler and the Nazis. They essentially BUILT Nazi Germany and made alot of money doing it.

They're the chickenhawks responsible for your PTSD. And for cutting your VA benefits to the bone. They'd rather soldiers die shortly after entering combat than live as long as you have. It makes covering their dirty tracks that much harder.

I was there when the Summer of Love kicked into high gear. I was shitting strained peas then. I was also there when all the black people were shouting, "kill whitey," at ME, and tossing bricks through the windows of my school.

I don't recall seeing you there, though.

I Can Help Them With That...

...if Cho was actually one of a cadre of CIA assets that the spooks in Langley watch out for by trolling the internet game scene looking for a certain, "passion," well, then...they would have had to have started working this kid's brain over back during the Clinton Administration to really do him up right.

So, see, it really was about Bill Clinton.

When I read that over 100 shots were fired, instead of less than 50, I realized that my pet theory that this cat was a CIA mind control experiment gone awry had to be debunked. A well-trained, cold-hearted assassin, snapped into a second personality by suggestion and drugs would have taken them out more expeditiously than he did. Like with Sirhan, they didn't even trust that he'd hit the bright side of a barn door, they just zapped him, gave him a gun and a target and off he went, agitated and oblivious. But he probably never even fired his gun at Kennedy. That was the security detail's job which they did with aplomb.

Nope. Cho was just a nut who went crazy in a neighborhood advantageous to the Bush Fear-mongering machine. Sometimes bad people like Torture Boy get good breaks, too.

But then there was that order from the government to the campus police to "stand down." They'd had a shooting in the prior year and, as a result, I believe they federalized the campus, law-enforcement wise. That's creepy but not entirely out of character for a conservative state like Virginia. "Oh, please, kind authority-figure-sir...just deal with this mess for us, pulllleeeezzz...."

Original article: Goodbye, Baghdad

River....

...I'm so sad for you having to leave your country, but glad for the country that finally receives you.

Are you able to mail large parcels? That might be one option.

OTOH, you've managed to stay fairly well hidden so far...I'd hate to think you'd blow it and send one of Negroponte's many death squads in your direction.

This is one of those underground railroad escapes that really requires someone on the other side whom you can trust to pull strings until you make it to Europe. I wouldn't even trust Jordan at this point.

Good luck and Alah's blessings on you and your family!
