I think it's naive to believe that we can attempt to regulate speech and not have all flavors of the "value" police come in and raid the movement.

So while I agree that things are a bit "niggardly" in the civil discourse department, I wouldn't want to risk having the neo-cons piggyback on our dismay and turn the whole boiling cauldron into a repeal of free speech.

We're ALL ANGRY AS HELL, but we don't know at what, or WHY. We're just picking the first thing that shows up on the radar and projecting all our fear, hurt and rage right at it.

Jet fuel burns at 1800 degrees fahrenheit, max.

Paper or plastic? Much lower.

When fires are well-oxygenated, they don't put out that black, sooty smoke you see in all the 9/11 video footage.

Ergo, there's no way the WTC fires got anywhere near 3000 degrees you claim.

Further, steel deformation takes time at the maximum temperatures of burning jet fuel. Again, looking at the footage, most of the fuel was consumed in a couple of firey blasts.

In fact, there exists video footage of one of the WTC victims, a very honorable woman, who was standing and waving from the gaping hole left by the jet in one of the WTC towers. Not exactly the stuff from which steel deformation faery tales are made.

So, would you like the viewing audience to believe that the Easter Bunny caused 9/11, or would still like to stick to a band of poor Arab Muslims with chips on their shoulders?

There is NO WAY the temperatures in those buildings came close to weakening 48 structural steel columns that were surrounded by a mesh of structural steel shell (outside of the building).

Further, if YOUR theory is the "pancake" theory, there's no WAY those buildings fall straight down and NO WAY they collapse at near free fall speed.

The WTC was a crime scene, pure and simple, and the government paid to have it cleaned up, post haste.
