Nope.

I'm angry and I have a right to be. Right here. I pay my bills. I support this media. I have a dog in this fight.

Pick on and at people I appreciate from a place of ignorance and I will wipe the floor up with you. Verbally, of course.

Don't you REALIZE that you've been programmed to BELIEVE that words are reality when they are just maps, sometimes arbitrary ones, that don't allow you to be heard or understood?! Sometimes. Usually at critical times.

Don't be intolerant of the intolerant!!

Think about that for a moment. We did this with the Republicans and they cleaned our clocks for 11-plus years. We heard the wisdom behind their words and took their criticisms to heart. We even tried doing this AFTER it became CRYSTAL-CLEAR that they were being backed and supported by some of the most intolerant fascists since the Third Reich. In fact, the families of the bigger Republicans WERE and ARE Nazi sympathizers who turned American anti-Nazi sympathizers into some sort of anti-leftist hate fest in the late 1950's.

I've lived long enough to recognize the difference between someone who's been seriously injured by a personal attack and someone who's skulking like a rat from a sinking ship. One can't tell that just from a strict content analysis of someone's words. Experience AND words make the difference.

Ms. Traister did a hit piece on someone who didn't deserve it. She took an ambiguous situation and satisfied herself with a superficial understanding of the facts, did not dig, did not care about the truth, and just ground an ax into someone's head.

I WILL BE INTOLERANT of INTOLERANCE that comes from this lazy-assed place of pseudo-journalism.

So I am careful about what I am intolerant of. I will be careful to identify the source of the intolerance within myself and then I will do the next best thing I can do.

In this case, the best I can do is get angry and get vocal at the ignorance and the nerve of some people's children. It is plain wrong, it is unacceptable to me and I will grind away at this issue until Ms. Traister joins Farhad Manjoo writing potty-mouthed apologies for their pet perspective du jour.

I WILL be absurd and I WILL exaggerate my position because there is no other peaceful way to drill the necessary holes in the thickened skulls of ignorant little coeds who haven't lived long enough to understand anything about the life they are mindlessly living in.
