Sexual Commentary From Marfa, Texas?

C'mon, people.

Men have done all manner of stupid, idiotic things to get the attention of women and young girls throughout history. They continue to do so. It's about hormones and what they do to otherwise normal judgment. The lower my hormone levels go as I age, the more obvious this fact of life becomes to me.

If anyone is getting coerced to engage in same-sex behavior of any stripe, that's a violation and it could also be rape.

But if what we're seeing are mating displays and rituals, get off your high horses! Women are the fairer sex, they are beautiful creations! Let women use their power while they have it in plentiful supply. All too soon our consumer culture will toss them on the ashheap along with ordinary over-40 males who can't find work even with a Master's Degree.

No one can be harmed by consensual sex. Stop breathing life into antiquated Victorian notions that make sex the gateway drug into a world of forbidden hedonism that ultimately ends with, what, sex with consenting chickens?

License To Be Mediocre

Mr. Kamiya has written a very long book report on Suskind's book. Which he then proceeds to water down with his own contemptuously mediocre analysis of matters of fact.

The fact is, and was, that the WTC attack on 9/11 was an inside operation coordinated through, among many others, Marvin Bush and the Office of the Vice President.

Professor Steven Jones of the Physics Department at Brigham Young University has painstakingly assembled all of the remaining physical evidence, making the his conclusion inescapable. The Twin Towers fell because the Administration wanted and needed them to fall.

We can forget the parallels with FDR and his devious accedence to the attack on Pearl Harbor: those were not innocent civilians atrociously slaughtered, but US government property. A thorough reading of history, particularly given the conduct of FDR's political opponents since that time, makes plain that the brave young men and women of Pearl Harbor died in defense of American democracy.

Mr. Kamiya could have done a much better job as a writer and a journalist had he actually gone as far as Suskind did with the perspective granted him by history.

Original article: The 9/11 deniers

Farhad 911

Manjoo is a joke, a plant, an appeaser pandering to this criminal administration.

Professor Steven Jones of the Brigham Young University Physics Department has slammed the door shut on any lurking notion that 19 middle eastern men with no flying skill flew two aircraft into two mammoth skyscrapers and caused them to drop to the ground at free-fall speed. This story, itself, is a faery tale.

Just exactly like the single bullet theory of the JFK assassination. And probably foisted on a traumatized American public by the same people.

Marvin Bush, of the Kennebunkport Bushes squatting in Houston, was head of security for the WTC in the weeks and months prior to 9/11.

This gave the real conspirators who demolished the Twin Towers access and opportunity. What Professor Jones' studies provide is the, "how," of the WTC attacks.

"Why," is all around us. But for starters, examine the history of Marine General Smedley Butler and his revelation to FDR's first administration that a kitsche of American businessmen -- all of whom thought Adolph Hitler hung the Moon -- had an extensive plot in place to remove FDR from office, by coup if necessary, in 1932.

The reason why these proto-fascists that occupy the upper echelon of corporate America continue to despise the memory of FDR and all of the entitlement programs he started during the Depression is because FDR outsmarted them all. They wanted a war of global domination in alliance with Nazi Germany. FDR gave them a war, but it was against their natural allies, not with them. Not that this stopped the, "wheels of progress," from turning; Prescott Bush was able to get off scott-free for trading with enemy during WWII (and after), and ran a successful campaign for Senate in the 1950's. He should have been thrown in prison, not allowed to run for high office.

But setting the dark motives aside for a moment, there has been, and continues to be, great concern regarding how best to govern humanity in times of crisis. Democracy or fascism? Paper or plastic? Humans have been breeding like rats since the 19th century, what are we to do?

The captains of industry believe they know and can make a quick buck while doing it.

Tragically, as is always the case with fascism, the leadership leaves itself out of the list of parties to be considered. Each greedy little fascist varmit supposes that money and power suitably replaces an experience of being an authentic human being and member of a highly favored species. It is the artificiality of the addictive experience (in this case with money and power as the compulsion) that always causes these scoundrels to self destruct. Their whole motivation to control their life experience is based on self denial, and, by extension, self destruction.
