Kitt

Now Adnoto will tell you that if you just write in Kucinich all of those problems you mentioned will vanish. And if you don't you are not paying attention, and you're dumb. Adnoto might put it in different words but the theme will be the same. -- Kitt

Kitt. Everyone here knows you aren't very bright and are often incapable of understanding things but I don't think that is the problem this time. I think you are attempting a new tack -- purposely attempting to mislead people about my position through outright lies. If it makes you feel better, feel free but your lies are easily refuted so I am not sure why you would want to continue to set yourself up for that type of embarrassment.

I have stated my position many times and in many different ways in the past but I will quote one of my more recent posts on the matter just so people can decide for themselves if you are eiither a) too stupid to understand it or b) simply lying.

I do not believe, no matter who is ruling us.. be they Republicans, Democrats or yes even Greens, that that, in and of itself, will bring about substantive change. In fact, I know that it will not.

In short, vote for who you like. By all means vote for who you think is "more progressive." It will not bring about substantive change. The problem is systemic. Until we act to force them to do away with the corruption within the system and alter some of the system itself, not even my preferred candidate Kucinich (who I see as a true anti-authoritarian, populist candidate) would make the least bit of difference, whether he be Democrat, Green or other.

The "more and better" plan is simply an unachievable fantasy. Those that follow that plan are the ones without hope. What is "hopeful" about continuing on an unachievable course? The only thing that will bring about substantive change is us demanding it.

Brain-dead

Also, your ramble that you added to your "everyone" post doesn't make any sense. It basically says, lets all just kill ourselves. What a great alternative.

-- Kitt

Yeah right Kitt. That's what it says.

Another possiblilty

Bravado

You don't have the luxury of shooting dice with my rights. -- JM Walker

I call those bold words for a one-eyed fat man. The world doesn't dance to any one person's tune. Anger may get you apoplexy, but it won't get you what you want unless it's accompanied by a little sweat. Don't get mad, get even. And for that, you may need L.W.M. You may need a lot of people who aren't impressed by the stamping of little feet.

-- William Timberman

A day may yet come when those who aren't impressed by the stamping of little feet find themselves stomped by those little feet.

I am curious...

Show of hands --

Who here thinks Obama, if he is elected president, will do anything about the the years and years of BushCo illegality? Investigate and prosecute where need be?

Lurkers...regular posters. Who of you actually believes he will do anything?

Friday, June 27, 2008 08:37 AM

Are you incapable of answering a simple question?

And that's why you're telling everyone to write in Kucinch? Because he'll win and do something? "Show of hands". How many think Kucinich is going to be the next president? -- Kitt

You are taking a poll too Kitt? Ok..

souriscriant

Grasshopper, sententious language is not the equivalent of wisdom. The fruits of the ants labor are all around you, but you are too blind to see it.

You are always working within the system. Whether you understand that or not, is your own ignorance.

-- souriscriant

Get fucked.

It's all the people's fault

Now Obama is attacking Moveon.org?

Yes he is...

They are 'threadbare' accourding to the Illinois genius.

They need to be stopped and reined in... - Pinky

Hmmm... going after a grassroots organization which is ostensibly run and funded by "the people." I wonder how long it will be before he is criticizing ActBlue (or whatever the org. is that all of you are donating to) for being too divisive?

Move-on = people. ActBlue = people.

Obama doesn't seem to care for "we the people" all that much. We are too divisive.

That's the way to get tough bystander...

Well, that does it for me. I'm finished with Campaign 2008. I've applied for a mail-in ballot. I'll check all the D's, and send it in, but that's it. No yard signs. No contributions. No GOTV. No arm twisting of friends, family, or undecided neighbors. Nada. Empty space. Nope. -- bystander

Ooooh, no yard signs? That'll show'em!

I am wondering...

Electing Barack Obama is a very important political priority but it isn't the only one there is, and his election is less likely, not more likely, the more homage he pays to these these tired, status-quo-perpetuating Beltway pieties. -- GG

What exactly would it take? Just what would he have to do before electing him was no longer a "very important priority?"

Are you serious?

This is why continued focus on substance would be good. Some of us don't have time to comb archives for your position. Refusing to discuss your established positions lends you blog and commenters an air of closed groupthinking insiderism. Open it up! -- Mike NYWI

And some of us don't have time to hold your hand and walk you through everything. Where have you been? You are late to the party and you have the nuts to make demands of those of us who have been paying attention? How about you shut up and catch up and quit wasting our time?
