still o'fer

You've missed Ad-annoying's only point, the only point he ever makes or cares about. He saw it all coming, his stance was the most moral, he is the only one who knows the way forward. And he's keeping it a secret. -- o'fer

I did see it coming but that is far from my "only point." More moral? More principled and intelligent certainly but I am not sure what morality has to do with it. I am not the only one who knows the way forward and it is not a secret. That is unless you would accuse Chomsky and Zinn of "secrecy" too. Do you think they are also ego driven narcissists? Our problem is people like you o'fer. You are always wrong and always bitter that someone else was/is correct. So, you attempt to demean those who were/are correct in order to feel better about yourself. I, on the other hand, don't need to demean you. I do do it occasionally because others need to realize that you and yours are not to be listened to. Your way is the wrong way. It is once again being proven as such. If you had an honest bone in your body and cared about the future you would just shut your mouth and listen to those who have been correct all along. It's not my ego, such as it is, that is the problem you see. It's yours.

*Sigh*

What the hell is up with this phenomenon of willful blindness among the democrats? It's like, everything is OK now, so I don't have to follow politics or keep myself educated about the goings-on of my government any more. Even if such people don't read as much about politics as the letter writers here, surely some alarming news has slipped through to them?

-- Presumptuous Insect

Yeah, who could have ever predicted that would happen?

You (cabdriver) don't "follow me" because you don't want to. You run around ducking and weaving, doing everything you can to avoid making a counter claim/argument regarding my assertion that there will be less support for issues such as run off style voting if obama is elected. Because, again, most of the common, less politically aware Dems or Obama supporters in general, simply won't care as much. Their guy will be in charge then and they can thankfully go back to their apathetic daily lives without having to "worry." -- adnoto

They (Obama voters/Democrats) aren't going to blame you and they certainly aren't going to blame themselves. They aren't going to care enough to do either. They don't have principles enough to do either. They just yearn for a return to the halcyon days of the Clenis. Then they can go back to their comatose state. Their guy will be in charge and they won't have to think about icky things like torture, illegal spying, and war crimes because Obama will take care of everything. If Obama says a hard core wingnut like Powell is worthy of a cabinet post and absolved of what "little" part he played in the murder and displacement of more than a million people then, hey, what's the problem? When Obama says we need to let bygones be bygones and that he will not investigate BushCo there will be very few heads exploding. Just watch them... watch them squirm and justify his BS when the time comes.

Daily Kos, FireDogLake, Huffington Post.... netroots blog readership and participation is going to plummet once Obama is elected. No one will be held accountable. They will be rehabilitated and no one (relatively speaking) will give a rats ass. Bet on it. -- adnoto
