we are better than you. the world needs us. (because we include einsteins). it doesn't need arabs. the three hundred million of them don't include anyone (try it yourself. see if you can come up with someone other than omar sharif, zogby and suicide bombers) -- david sugarman
You are one sick, racist fuck. If it's enemies you want, you are doing well... you just made another one.
He can imagine that American democracy is threatened by a Falwell, but not that our strong world position, on which American democracy depends, can be threatened by a resurgent Islam,... -- RobbySh
So that is what our "democracy" depends on is it? Our strong world position? Or did you mean to say: "on which American imperialism and empire depend"? There are plenty of strong republics out there that don't depend on a "strong world position."
You are just an imperialist warmonger who couldn't care less about "democracy." Your rhetoric and the wet spot between your legs give you away.
Rev. Wright hates America because, among other things, he is willing to point out that it is not beyond the pale for the United States Government to use its citizens as lab animals for research - which every educated person on the face of the planet already knows to be the truth. Drugs, disease, radioactive particles, mind control, etc. Simply pointing out the truth - that many of our government's policies and practices have been/are exceptionally evil makes Rev. Wright unAmerican. Did the U.S. government engineer AIDS? Probably not. Did they take a sample and introduce it into the population? Doubtful perhaps... but beyond comprehension? Get serious.
Most American's can't process the truth. Rather, they will not. No one wants to believe that they are responsible/accountable for immoral and/or illegal acts/atrocities. So, the people will not take any type of responsibility. It is very convenient. When their government commits some horrible crime in the people's name, and that crime cannot be hidden, the people throw up their hands and claim they have no control. And then, instead of hanging (literally) those directly responsible in order to set the precedent and perhaps end the cycle, they vote for more of the same in the hopes that next time it will be different. It is madness. It is America.
Obama is finished IMO. You think Rev. Wright is the end of this type of swiftboating horse-shit? Not even close. Obama may get the nomination but he is a dead candidate walking in the general. You can count on adding "sell-out" to Obama's list of faults. I would imagine he will lose at least some of the African-American vote because of his comments today. I am not African-American but he would have lost my vote (had he ever it). And those same "bitter," small town Americans will be convinced, once again, to vote against their interests (not that they have any real choice given the candidates) because, well... they are Americans after all. They are exceptional. Americans are the last best hope for the world. McCain and Clinton have been and will continue to make sure they feel good about themselves. It's the ultimate trump card. Obama is too late to the party. He didn't placate and lie enough from jump. Perhaps he never had a chance in the first place but he didn't convince the true massuh's that he would play the faithful house negro and now it has caught up with him.

?
Lol... I take it you disagree with something I wrote? That's fine of course. What specifically? I can tell from your other posts that you are a big Obama supporter. You believe he still has a good chance? Is that what you took issue with. How do you see it all playing out now?
Or is your irritation with my post due to the fact that not everyone is dumb enough to believe that Mr. Obama is an agent for true change? 'Cause - he isn't. He is just a less offensive, faux populist, neo-liberal who currently, desperately wants everyone to know how much he "loves America."
You might be able to convince me he still has a legitimate chance to pull it out - maybe. But if you are going to try and sell the "Obama is fundamentally different" line... well, you are welcome to delude yourself but you won't be converting me. Kucinich and Nader are fundamentally different. Perhaps Obama could have been. From what I can tell, he seems a very decent human being and, in that regard, he is a damn sight better than the other two. But, an agent for real change? Er... no.
adnotoWhat i DO want to sell you is a first class ticket to take a flying fuck at the moon. -- manos99
I can see that you are not really up for a discussion. Ok, np.
How much for the first class ticket then?
This might be worth commenting on also. I was surprised you didn't mention it. Or did I miss it?
