I don't think I believe this --- lawyers, is this possible?A blog referred me to Slate and this seemingly impossible turn of events in American in-justice...
-- heru-ur
I read things like this and I absolutely see blood red. See that's the kind of thing that would lead me to seriously consider, let's say, "doing something" to the Judge and members of the prosecution.
If true, it is just another example of how much of a joke our "justice system" is. As far as the little guy is concerned, justice = tyranny.
Paul Rosenberg, Scientician, Michael Harold (Michael was good), PDA and a couple others would be good to have back. Pow Wow and sysprog still post sometimes unless I am mistaken. Pow Wow posted today I think.
People leave. It's the nature of things. They get busy doing something else. Some can't stand the heat, whatever. Pining for them is a bit silly though. Perhaps you should just go post where Timberman and the others do Jebbie. Wouldn't you be happier there? That is a sincere question.
Some of them can be found elsewhere in the political blogisphere and others have just disappeared. If you run into any of them, invite them to stop by.
Yeah, invite all the talkers back. And someone tell Timberman to quit ducking a come do his 'splaining. He has some to do.
Timberman[Read the article: Was Karl Rove involved in the military analyst program?]My own thought is that Glenn and others are building a case. When the day comes when we have the power to present it -- and I think it will.... -- William Timberman
Keep dreaming bozo. Who constitutes "we" in your fantasyland? You will "have the power" when Obama gets elected, correct? I will meet you back here, six months in to his tenure, so that you can explain to us why nothing has changed, no one was held accountable and why anyone should ever again listen to your "play the game and everything will be better" nonsense. --adnoto

Still waiting.
We are going to drag you childish righties into the future whether you like it or not. We won the election, we call the shots. Don't like it, TOUGH!! -- Conservativeslayer
Who is? I mean that would be great and everything but who is going to drag them in to the future? Who is "we." You mentioned the election... Do you mean the Democratic Party? The Democratic Party that just voted to cut off funding to ACORN due to pressure from "idiot conservatives?" Is that the "we" who is going to drag them into the future whether they like it or not? And, while I am at it, can you explain to me how that is going to play out? What do you see happening? I am seriously asking.
I think we are at ideological loggerheads in America. We'll just have to hope people realize who's really screwing them (it isn't ACORN) and direct their righteous anger accordingly. Though I'm not optimistic at this point. -- rrheard
We aren't at "ideological loggerheads" are we? I mean, is it even possible to be at ideological loggerheads with insanity? Doesn't a person have to be sane to have an ideology?
If it ever does come down to shooting in the streets, these idiots would be fighting and dying for their slave-masters and they wouldn't even know it. Literally. That's how far gone they are. They amount to bundles of low IQ's, fear, hate and propaganda wrapped up in something that looks to be the skin of a human being. I would be fine with letting them leave peacefully with their insanity. But, again, if it comes comes down to shooting, they aren't going to allow it. They are going to fight because everyone else is not insane and they can't stand that.
But what was the estimated crowd seize for the left-wing protest group? The right-wing had tens of thousands? What were the left-wings numbers?
I will apologize to Josh. Josh I am sorry. I do not really want to shove a hard copy of the video up your ass.
I think you are correct actually. People simply have to beat around the bush until it becomes completely impossible for them to beat around the bush any longer. They will take the path of least resistance until that path heads off the cliff. When it comes to the idea of direct action most are simply unwilling to be convinced and it wouldn't matter who was attempting to do the convincing. It's just too bad, IMO, that we are going to have to hit absolute rock bottom and then the choice will have been made for us. I am amazed what people are willing to live with. What they are willing to put up with.
I'll be honest though, if we do indeed let it go until it comes crashing down around us, I am going to hold it against the liberal blogosphere. I am going to have some very hard feelings.
