Yes! -- Lets Move Forward Please!

This whole situation has really destroyed alot of my respect for the Hillary and her Hardline supporters. I used to say,"wow, what a strong woman; a role model for my daughter!" -- but now we say "what a desperate grab for power; how sad." Please let this end in a good way! If Ickes, et al, really push this thing to August, then they might as well campain for McCain -- They're just dragging the whole Party back into the mud and we'll be seeing most of the younger voters moving back into the ranks of the apathetic where so many have dwelled since Reagan. Let our movement grow!!! OBAMA 2008!!!

Does Hillary reject the voters in Caucus states?

I find it truly amazing that Hillary and crew have the audacity to claim the "popular vote" -- when this means ignoring all the voters in caucus states. Excuse me? That's just bad math! And pretty offensive to find out Hillary doesn't count your vote if you attended a caucus instead of a primary. These politics stink! I am voting for Obama tomorrow!

Well Jeb,

As I see it, relying on estimates from caucus states isn't much different than estimating what would have happened in Michigan or Florida if they had followed the rules. Specious numbers any way you count it. So it really adds up to a pretty weak and self-serving argument by Camp Hillary.

Fairness is sticking with the rules. The compromise to seat half is political exigency aimed at retaining Dems in those states. Hillary wants it all her way and still cries foul even though she got more than a fair settlement.

This white working class woman is voting for Obama!

The notion that Repugs are soft on Obama...

is fanciful at best. They've just taken a passive aggressive tactic of keeping Hillary's negative claims alive and ever-present in the media. She's given them all the fuel they need -- Angering voters in FL and MI; his "problem" with white voters; televisuals of shrill, screaming mobs crying "foul;" more visuals of scary black preachers. Far better for them to stay quiet, let the Dems destroy any optimism still held by new voters, and then come out smelling like a rose...

It's true that it will be tougher with the swift-boaters in full attack come fall; but that's why it's so essential that the shrill tone gets put to rest -- We need to pull together folks! The bigger picture is the endless war, the hemorrhaging economy, a complete failure of diplomacy, the need for universal healthcare, redeeming school policy from the test brokers, and getting back the government that's been sold to the highest bidder.

Quit putting down our chances! Quit feeding the doubts! We all have a choice -- we can pony up and help dispell the crap or we can keep throwing it in our own faces..

@KateTex...(p.1)

You're saying Hillary wins the popular vote -- as long as we only count 14 states??

Unite, People!

The defeatist crowd keeps saying Obama can't win because he can't take attacks. Well, I'd say the Repugnicants are already piling it on pretty good -- by using a passive aggressive tactic of keeping Hillary's negative claims alive and ever-present in the media. She's given them all the fuel they need -- Angering voters in FL and MI; his "problem" with white voters; televisuals of shrill, screaming mobs crying "foul;" more visuals of scary black preachers. Caucus Cacophony?

Isn't it a little late in the game to be telling the caucus states they've committed a terrible injustice by disenfranchising themselves? I mean, really -- If those folks wanted a primary, they could have had one -- but nobody was objecting a few months ago.

Get real, please! If you want to start a movement to end caucuses, well, go for it! Take on the elitist electoral college while you're at it! But take it up with the voters in those states BEFORE the next primary season. Don't play the victim all of a sudden when you accepted the terms at the start. That's just dishonest.

Really, the stakes are way too high to play this game. This white woman is voting for Obama tomorrow!

Know thy enemy!

Diplomacy is Necessary for Peace.

Highest Coup: Make the enemy your friend.

Bush/McCain sabre rattling is far more dangerous than intelligent diplomacy. Those who feel threatened and without options may back down, but they may also turn and fight to the death if they perceive nothing left to lose.

A responsible leader does not close the door on the possibility of negotiated agreement. Negotiations hold open the possibility of averting violent conflict, and they are much harder when many have already died in a struggle. It takes courage and diplomatic skill to face an enemy and set forth terms and conditions, and remain open to alternatives, while not compromising on our essential security.

McCain has neither the temperment or skill for this job (expect more sabre rattling). Hillary is becoming more scary daily with her various versions of reality (what will happen if she feels victimized by sexist Iran?). In contrast, Obama expresses an understanding of this process and appears to have both the diplomatic skill and steadfastness of character to find the difficult balance between international respect and security.
