Absolutely Absurd

[Read more letters about this article: Here]This article is absolutely absurd. The issue with Bonds is not that he's black. What taints Bonds and makes people and fans dislike him is the fact that he achieved something dishonestly over someone who achieved the same thing honestly.
Race is not an issue in this matter I believe. If it was the case then why is it that Hank refuses to be there when Bonds overcomes his record? Race.. Please. It seems to me that Mr. Tolan is a Bonds appologist looking for a reason as to why Bonds should be vindicated whenever he steals the record from Hank. If sports casters, the one's who should really only have an opinion on this matter, feel that Bonds is not getting his due credit because he's black should quit their day job.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]What Karl Rove is trying to do is bait the Democrats into cutting off the funding for the war. He, as well as all the Bush ilk, are trying to get he Democrats to move in this direction. Why else does he consistently call them out? He wants them to commit political suicide and cut off the funds so that the Republicans can cry foul and smear the Dems as defeatists.
The Democrats have done an effective job of not allowing for their labeling of defeatists. The Democrats will continue to slowly give Bush what he wants in oder to ensure that this war has the Bush, Cheney and Karl names written all over it.
Karl is trying to disspell the Dems out of the gate. He does not understand that he was a part of one of the worst presidencies in US history. He also doe snot understand that to get anything done in the COngress their either needs to be a super majority or a president of the same party, as Karl and Bush had the pleasure of having as they cramed thier ideology down the throat of unsuspecting Americans.
Karl has not, is not and never will be an effective leader. Leaders don't cheat and lie (qualities that are synonymous with Karls name). In his pice he's trying to swing the Independents to the right with the concomitatnt intent of trying to get the Democrats to cut off the funding for the War.
The Democrats are wise to Karl's motives. Karl's words are are fuel for the idiot blogers on right wing sites to cut and and paste as they try to discredit a Congress who has been in power for 10 months.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I watched that clip on MSNBC yesterday. It was very loud and Obama probably had to raise his voice to be understood, but I don't think that he was getting "testy" as ABC points out. I never drew that conclusion.
What ABC should be noting is that patronizing and absurd press conference hillary gave yesterday morning. I wish she'd quit telling me what I need and don't need to do in my life. She in no way is a change agent. She's a political operative from another party with an agenda, that's all that's on her mind.
I hope the people of California see the hate in her and vote the change that his country needs. Mostly pushing Duncan Hunter out of his seat. And voting for Obama of course.
