The VP pick

The pick of Mrs. Palin demonstrates that McCain knows what other experienced campaigners (unlike Barack) have proven time and again... there are far more conservatives out there than liberals. Look around the web, the energy she has generated is completely galvanizing the conservative base, bringing home everyone from Evangelicals to 2nd Amendment enthusiasts and sportsmen, and getting them working for the ticket. They now believe they can trust McCain, and his immediate donations of over $7 million in contributions proves it.

She stole the thunder (and bounce) from the Barackanalia in Denver less than 24 hours after his speech. She is no token, and is not there to pander to anyone at all, but to offer one of their own as a true agent for change in the face of the most liberal ticket offered in God knows how long. And the chronic underestimation of her ability to connect, to reform, and to stand for her principles in the face of pressure is what will get them to the White House. They know she represents the future of the Republican Party and for the conservation of their values they will mobilize.

The hypocritical leftist elitism is coming out all over the place. As Alaska's first female governor, she has fought successfully the corruption of her party, beaten the entrenched incumbent, and made good on promises to Alaskans (with 80 - 90% approval ratings).

Obama has been running for president since stepping into the Senate, no distinction in state legislature, has zero executive experience, some "community organizing" with shady use of ACORN funds for his own ends and work on the board with Bill Ayers, which he is now at great pains to cover up with good old Chicago intimidation tactics. He is where he is because of "rhetoric," a couple of speeches in the past and at the Greek Temple, and the media's infatuation. He has proven he has no knowledge of foreign affairs, and even his eloquence deserts him when he steps away from the teleprompter.

I'd rather have the VP learning from an experienced president than an inexperienced president learning on the job.

This refers to...

every evangelical community in the country, and all the Catholics Pelosi pissed off by lying about the Church's position. You think $7 million came from a few forum geeks after her announcement?

I voted for Bill Clinton twice, and against dubya, but I'm only stating here that the more you "celebrate" and underestimate Palin, and McCain, the more it will sting when the base comes out like they did four years ago.

How about some issues.

I've seen people here reach for every last straw they can, no matter how unsubstantiated or ridiculous. No one says what it is Obama stands for that they actually believe in.

He says, "As President, I'll recruit an army of new teachers, and pay them higher wages..." Really, and since when does the president or government higher or pay teachers? He asks shy the UN doesn't do something about the situation in Georgia. Maybe because Russia has a veto. All that experience just shines.

You say you don't like Sarah's Christian values... and you prefer the hatred the Obama's stewed in for 20 years?

Maybe you like the Death Tax, to pay again on your life savings that's already been heavily taxed by him, so you can't leave it to your kids.

All I see is empty campaign signs that read "Change." Platered so thick you'd think we were in Communist China (which he holds up as a model).

What are you changing to? Government so overburdened by his ACORN tactics that it collapses like all that Chinese infrastructure?

I hope you people are really thinking about what you believe, because he would have his tentacles in absolutely every aspect of your life.
