Concerning your critical look at McCain, I'm far more concerned with the leadership he displayed in the navy, and all the years of doing what he believed was right in the senate, which you conveniently ignore. If you're going to hold up his first wife, 3/4 of Washington would have to be eliminated by that standard. This talking point of "he voted 90% with Bush" first of all focuses on a very small portion of his career, and secondly ignores the fact that these were largely non-contentious bills. Even Obama voted 48% with Bush, and Biden 54%, to put it in context.

Concerning Obama, his Alinsky tacticts, his involvement with buying Acorn support, including those all-important dead votes in Chicago, makes him a radical. The fact that the only bills he sponsored in state legislature were for social welfare, gross overspending causing large financial problems, makes him irresponsible. The fact that he's doing everything he can to cover his involvement on the board with Ayers, makes him shady. There's more, but this is already more than enough for me not to trust our future to a man so egomaniacal that he believes he can talk an entire population out of a centuries old mandate to eliminate the Islamic world of infidels.
