What's easy

... is ignoring the fact that the economic problems come from the lack of Greenspan's regulation in the housing market. And again, since the Bush tax cuts in '03, the economy has grown more than under Clinton.

You still have yet to make a case for how increasing corporate taxes will help unemployment. You have to look no further than your own ticket. Why is Biden's home state so full of big corporations employing thousands? It's the most corporate friendly state.

You're missing the point

The alternative come January, is either keeping corporate taxes low, or raising them. You are saying jobs aren't being created now, therefore McCain's theory must be wrong. Ignoring, of course, other relevant economic factors, like paying for wars, housing crisis, etc....

So, if jobs aren't being created now, what do you think is going to happen if Obama gets in and loads up the taxes? He's going to make a faltering situation into a downward spiral. Overseas outsourcing will increase, US unemployment will increase, foreign dependance will increase, and guess what... there is no one to step in when China, Russia and Iran take advantage of it. Mr. noble citizen of the world can preach all he wants and blame America, but no one else will keep those forces in check.

Public vs Private

Basically, it's because they believe that the private sector creates jobs and wealth far more efficiently than government does. Look at the success rates of government initiatives, and you will see why. They want to limit spending and let the private sector step up and develop alternative energies, while drilling in the meantime to quell the threat of crazies in places like Iran. Drilling may take some time, but at least it will get prices down while alternatives are pursued. One doesn't interfere with the other.

What's in front of you

is one single issue... corporoate tax cuts. And you say that it doesn't work, because our economy isn't doing great right now. There are far greater influences that you are choosing to ignore.

So you want to try something different. Raise corporate taxes. Company is already hurting, make 'em pay more. Brilliant. Think about it. Just because it sounds different doesn't make it a viable answer. It will crush middle America.

If we stay where we are on corporate taxes, once the housing crisis turns around, you will see the jobs come back as the dollar and the economy strengthen. It does work, but economies are cyclical. It will come around. It's a proven fact. When they have to pay less, they stay here.

Understanding the Bush Doctrine

Given that Charles Krauthammer was the first to use the term, it's worth reading his opinion on understanding the Bush Doctrine.

Why are you not investigating the story of the true influences on Obama's thought, politics and character? The left-wing media will send planes full of reporters and lawyers to dig up any dirt to smear Sarah, but you will ignore the Chicago machine politics and radical preachers that have shaped Obama. Why will you not present the public with unbiased information? What favors do you believe you are doing American Democracy?

Buying Votes Again

This should make obvious what your Marxist candidate wants to do... he sees the market working in it's reaction to the subprime mortgage and credit crises and wants inefficient government to step in, spending more money we don't have. Hope you folks are ready if you choose Obama for him to tank the economy, incite false panic, and scare off investors. He cannot fulfill the promises he's made, it's not even remotely possible. He's buying your vote with empty promises to robinhood money for you, and it can not work.

Typical Left

Talk about how bad the economy is, then get on your jet to go hang out with Barbara Streisand and the Hollywood elite. Way to show you're down there in the trenches when we just footed the bill for an $85 billion bailout of yet another collapsing company.

How about telling us why the Pelosi house is trying put a sham off-shore drilling bill out there to pretend their doing something.

Let's see if the left-wing media covers that one.

Wasteful Ways

Can't you find anything better to talk about than this tabloid crap that just makes the left look desperate?

Here's one... talk about how Pelosi tried to sneak a worthless sham of a off-shore drilling bill past the house overnight because if she actually gave anyone time to read it, they'd see it's a complete hoax that does nothing but pretend that they're considering drilling so they can go back to playing the victim.

Talk about how Obama is too busy in Beverly Hills partying with the elite to see what the worthless Democrat House is doing.

Original article: The lying game

Lies from the Left

"Obama's fondest hope is to lead America into another war on poverty. Everything in his state-legislative career points in this direction, and Obama calls for a renewal of expensive national anti-poverty programs in his book The Audacity of Hope. True, Obama's promotion of government partnerships with private-sector housing contractors (like Antoin "Tony" Rezko) was supposed to open up novel, post-Great Society solutions to the problem of poverty. Yet, as a devastating Boston Globe report on Obama's Illinois housing policy recently showed, the results of Obama's new war on poverty are just as counterproductive as those of the old war on poverty. Neighborhoods supposedly renovated now lie deserted by the private developers who took Obama's government handouts and ran-quickly building or renovating housing units, but failing to maintain them."
