[Read more letters about this article: Here]I've given birth. Every Scientologist woman (reference Kelly Preston and Kirstie Alley, for easy examples) has broken the silence and drugs rule. People spout all sorts of nonsense before they give birth.
The medical tests thing is the problem. Those tests are for defects and disease that have to be addressed in the first 10 days. The Apgar is to save the baby's life. That rule (no medical tests) endangers the baby's life. If she adheres to that, it's not Katie Holmes I'd worry about. It's stupid.
And yes, this was funny.It's as funny as every Type A overachiever in Lamaze class who swears their birth will be incense and music, and they will write thank you notes while pushing. It's actually pretty damn hilarious. There's a reason Sinbad jokes about this wife hitting him during labor and delivery.
Geez, some people are just a little too serious around here today.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]It is true that Jesus removed the Leviticus death penalties when he told the accusers of the adultress "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and that He had fulfilled the Law and offered the New Covenant. Unfortunately, many psuedo Christians somehow still are trying to bind Leviticus on Christianity. It's a ludicris argument, but then remember Fred Phelps, the man protesting soldiers' funerals based on Leviticus and the idea that "America is being punished by God because of homosexuality". WHen psuedo Christians quote against gays, premarital chastity, etc, they always quote Leviticus.
Some of these people really do not understand what "being saved".

Let's be honest- Americans who apply for these jobs are routinely turned away by employers who want to exploit employees and not pay SSI, Worker's Comp, and other taxes. Multiple articles point this out, several new studies point this out. There are more than enough workers for minimum wage jobs in America who are willing; it's employers who are not willing. Illegals are docile.

Nationally, the unemployment rate among workers between 20 and 24 is 8.2 percent, nearly twice the rate for all workers. The jobless rate among African-American men is even higher.

Immigrant workers sometimes get preference because employers know they won't call in sick or "ask for a day off to go to the State Fair," he said. Unlike American workers, he said, they don't "work the system."
Such reliability is gold to employers trying to meet deadlines.
'Hard to find' good help
No wonder then that employers in a state with 215,000 people officially unemployed are openly breaking the law to hire undocumented workers."
Employers want employees who will not take time off to nurse a sick mother or child, etc. It's unreasonable, and it's true. I live in a state with very little illegal immigration,a nd I pay the same costs for landscaping and nannying. Why? Competition means that the American owners take less profit, and pay real wages.
Illegal immigrants lower employment in the unskilled/high school diploma segment of the population. They are sicker when they hit the hospital. Studya after study shows that the California state budget is in the red because of services to or caused by illegals (education and serious health, + policing).
It is about national security, environment and jobs.
It is not racist to not support people breaking the law, whether it be civil or criminal. WHen you break the law, you are doing something illegal. These people never had documents in the first place- they are illegal aliens, versus resident aliens (this is the legal terminology).
What is racist is to tolerate these huge unemployment numbers among Hispanic Americans and Blacks because of illegal immigration. Those men want to work, and the excuses are simply repitions of racial stereotypes.
Fine those businesses out of business.

Friends are proud of friends. A so called friend who won't introduce you to his wife and other friends does not really care about you. This is not a "deep" relationship because that is 2 way. This is a one way blood sucking relationship.
The secrecy as many said, the lies, the insult to LW of not introducing her, all point to the man not respecting her.
End the fantasy. Be a woman. Or karma's a bitch and it will catch up with you. Affairs create bad will.
