[Read the article: Jihadis throw a wild bash over the Protect America Act]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Glenn and his followers have absolutely zero impact on the running of the government regarding serious matters.
Just like you!
Even with a dem congress your views are inconsequential.
Keep up the good work.
Actually, judging by the general tenor of the news and scuttlebutt in real-life, my views are winning the war of ideas. Not due to any work or effort on my part, but because commonsense and rationality are the death-touch for neocons.
Once the tincture of pre-Bush thinking re-enters the brain, it produces an itching, nagging sense of doubt, one remembers that one used to think for oneself, not just repeat catch-phrases from Sean Hannity. One remembers the sense of pride they used to have as an American. One remembers that one is a free man, not a slave, and that our government works for US.
Within a relatively short time (considering the typical extent of damage) the neocon virus is intrinsically expunged from the mind of the poor suffering zombie, and mental balance begins returning to its pre-Bush state.
I recommend you take two daily doses of thinking for yourself (more if needed) and come back in a week. You'll feel fantastic.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I know he's always been among the most idiotic of the trolls but the idea to choose the one moment when its become clear that we ARE having an effect as the moment to spout that nonsense strikes me as particularly bizarre.
Really? It strikes me as perfectly in character for the neocon followers. I could write a bot to argue better than these guys do.
General modes of neocon projection are, in order of intensity:
1) stating as factual what they would like to be true
2) stating as factual what they would like you to believe to be true
3) telling you you have some huge fundamental character flaw for not believing them
4) completely retreating into paranoia, saying to themselves "there's no reasoning with those pinko commie fascist Islam blacks."
and then there's a special "reset" state, where you pretend you never believed or said anything you clearly did when social pressures (not facts) become overpowering to your fragile, easily-led constitution.
