Don't know Jack
[Read the article: Charles Krauthammer takes rank hypocrisy to new lows]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Guns are bad, Glenn is good. What else do you need in Glenntown?
Gun rights are good. Glenn is a good commentator. Where are you going with this?
It's downright embarassing how anyone who criticizes any Republican whatsoever is assumed to be some stereotyped liberal caricature.
Here's a hint, Jack: no one who is pro-Constitution is pro-Republican anymore. Libertarians are better conservatives than Republicans are. If someone is trashing one of your RNC Teen Beet heroes, you can't assume there's a Green Party card in their pocket, there's always the possibility they are one of those rare Americans who actually gives a damn what happens to this country, who actually cares about something more than which stupid team wins.

No, Jack!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Don't quit digging, you're almost to the top of the hole!
Again, I ask, what's your definition of a decent interval? You're defending Obama for politicizing it hours later. How in the world can you reconcile turning around and attacking CK for discussing it 48 hours later? Rank hypocrisy, indeed.
Glenn didn't address whether or not Obama's comments were appropriate. He simply pointed out that Krauthammer was criticizing Obama for the same behavior he himself was engaging in and that Krauthammer's comments were more construable as "inappropriate politicizing" than Obama's if Obama's were indeed inappropriate.
Got that? Because it has been explained to you several times already.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Please see my comment upthread detailing why the presumption that the VATech shooter was aping Islamic terrorists is completely unfounded.
The only people I know who made that connection already see Islamic terrorists in the cupboards and drainpipes.

The value of snark
[Read the article: Charles Krauthammer takes rank hypocrisy to new lows]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Which is why our primary task is not to win arguments against these jokers. It's to demonstrate conclusively and repeatedly that they are not rational.
If RWAs do indeed respond like children to authoritative tropes, then one thing they understand is the Smackdown(tm), punishingly administered with a healthy dose of fact.
Another thing they get right away is being made fun of. Oh how they remember and respond to that.
Any adult in 2007 still instinctively believing the Republicans' garbage after being lied to soooo many times is like a kid who needs their blanket taken away for their own good, because it stinks and is attracting bugs, and I said so, that's why.

I'm very disappointed in you.
[Read the article: Charles Krauthammer takes rank hypocrisy to new lows]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If Glenn and Arne would show me how to travel back in time, I'd simply undig the hole. Since it's too late, I'll just have to call you a hypocrite for telling me to stop commenting while you yourself are commenting. That's a new low!
This is gibberish. This is embarassing to watch.
I'm giving you a D+, but only because you'd have to repeat the grade otherwise.

In today's fast-paced instant access media market, 48 hours is an eternity.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]That's how Jack Bauer can manage to be betrayed 3 times, get tortured, torture some other people, diffuse 6 bombs with magic torture info, and take upwards of 400 bullets for the president in only 24 hours.

Wait, wait...

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Because people who hate this guy and everything he believes know what he was saying even if he himself does not. Interesting theory.
Who are you talking about here, Obama or Krauthammer?

Ever wonder how guys like bin Laden and Hussein got so powerful in the first place? With your tax dollars! Google that Carrilles guy to see what kind of wonderful champions of liberty you support!
Remember: today's freedom fighter may become tomorrow's terrorist, but tomorrow isn't here yet.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Even if it does not turn out that the shooter is Muslim, this is a demonstration to Muslim jihadists all over that it is extremely easy to shoot and kill multiple American college students.
LOL, A play in one act:
Terrorist: Oh, gee, I never thought of doing something that has been done countless times before by unrelated individuals with long-term, high-profile media coverage including made-for-TV movies after an appropriate time period has passed, true crime books, the common phrase "going postal", Stephen King short stories, anecdotes from drill sargeants, and the (suckified) movie Elephant.
Thank god my Islamic* brother was able to enlighten me with this ingenious, intricate plot!
*not really

Oh the laffs that will ensue when some dumbass tells me this story in person.
Thank you dear Lord, you provide for our daily amusement in the most unutterable, subtle ways. There is no Comedian but God and the neocons are his jokewriters!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]As long as what 'they' sell is all lies, I want someone to point out to me the 'truth' of everything uttered by the progressives, is all. I'm fine with everyone lying, really I expect it. There's no truth only agendas, I just want someone else to see that.
You sound like a highschooler. There is truth (at minimum provisional truth, nonetheless undeniable) the only people who ever manage to convince themeselves otherwise are people who know in their hearts their "own" truth is a crockpot full of tripe.
It really is amazing how often this moral relativism gets touted by rightwingers these days, I remember in the 90s, the "moral relativism of the liberals" was one of the most frequently-employed broad brushes of conservatives, and just like the "small government", "restrained spending", "individual/states rights" lines, they completely about-faced.
Maybe the "fear" of moral relativism was projection all along.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You are altruistic pure and noble, everyone else is a dastardly evil lying scoundrel. I see, thanks for clearing that up. So are we done here?
No, not "everyone else."
You.
