You can talk about a serious subject and find a way to inject humor into it.And there is the essence of what Imus finds Himself in--HUMOR--not acceptable in this instance,butttt!!! Humor sometimes takes a life of it,s own, if it,s good it starts rolling down a hill on it,s own steam dragging the"Humorist" with it as it picks up steam. This is where incorrect-Politically-comments crop up,on that downhill ride.This is clearly what happened to Don Imus and He knows it and has apologised for it. But come on Joan,for you to dismiss in an offhand way what Imus and His Wife are doing for "those kids"is going just about as far over the line as the comments He made!!! And you are a better writer and person than that.Don,t you think? Tommie27
