Original article: The dirty girl

Hair Free = Pedophile

I think that often men don't have enough self-confidence to admit that they would like a non-shaven woman... A completely shaven pussy looks really weird.

A man has to be self-confident to proclaim he is not a pedophile? Any adult man who is more turned on by a woman's pubic hair-free escutcheon really has been indoctrinated into a very strange fraternity. I will be glad when this whole hair-free fad (and it is a fad) is over.

Or maybe we live in a bizarro world where children will start wearing merkins.

Original article: The end of "ER"

ER was in a coma, I am glad they pulled the plug

I was in medical school when ER started and I used to gather with my classmates to watch it. John Carter was only a year ahead of us, but we learned from him. I even got a question right on my boards from watching ER on a study break. It was a truly great show -- for about five years, maybe six.

Recently, I tuned in to watch the Clooney cameo episode and the final show. Before that I hadn't watched it regularly since the episode where the psychotic patient put a knife in Carter and the medical student. Carter survived, but the med student did not and a great show jumped the shark. ER should have been euthanized years ago. Even the last episode was a sappy sentimental mess.

Typical Military Investigation

That is, no investigation -- just a bunch of writing on a paper to cover their tracks.

Original article: Mel Gibson's family values

Mel Gibson Remarry?

"The ultra-orthodox Catholic can't get remarried in the church unless he says he made a "mistake" and gets an annulment"

Why in the hell would Mel Gibson EVER get married again? And who cares anyway?

3-D Porno

The primal force of porno, the force that made the World Wide Web explode, will be the same force that will what make or break this new technology.

I thought about posting a letter about this article...

but, really, what would be the point? No one is listening anymore during any "abortion discussion," they are just broadcasting their beliefs.

Original article: Leave me alone

Alone Time

I remember the first time I drove across the US alone. I met so many interesting people along the way to the Grand Canyon. Alone time is a great way to get to know oneself, and become a better person. I am always suspicious of people who can't be alone.

Original article: Mommy does Dallas

A Private Matter

The fact is, when a married couple with children decides to get divorced, things can get messy.

The father in this situation obviously cares deeply about his child, he is doing what he thinks is right. Why should anyone question his intentions? If I were in his position, I would likely do the same.

Mz Berlin is also doing what she thinks is right. She has a career she cares about and decided to speak out in her own defense. However, she must have known her career choice might cause problems in her family life, that is why she tried to remain anonymous. However, her career is not a mainstream type of job. Any woman who is a porn actress should be aware of the drawbacks. It doesn't mean it is Right, but it is the way things are in our society.

I hope she is able to retain her privacy in this matter.

@cdcollins

I agree, this sounds just like "Alien Nation." I still want to see it though...

Let the Patient Chose

I have delivered several hundred babies, many without epidural anesthesia. Some women have excellent birth experiences without an epidural, while many women also have excellent experiences with an epidural. Getting pregnant and giving birth to a baby is an undertaking not without risk or pain, but modern medicine has helped eliminate a sizable portion of each. Let the patient chose what they desire, for they are the ones who live with the consequences.

Original article: My life in Xanax

The next time a patient asks me to refill their Xanax...

The next time a patient asks me to refill their Xanax that they used to get from their old doctor -- I will tell them no, like I usually do, and then give them a copy of this article. Very nicely written! Honesty is so rare and refreshing.

Xanax is only designed to be used in the very short term. I am appalled by how many of my colleagues have people on it for years, even decades.

I don't understand why people pay more for apple

Why spend two or three times as much for something for no reason? Oh, I forgot, they look so much cooler than a plain old PC. Apple was more user-friendly than PC's, back in 1984, but microsoft or even linux is now better and has been for a long time.

A Very Interesting Point of View

This article puts everything into perspective. Thank you -- I am going to print it out and post it in my office so my (human) patients can read it.

Still think Trig is Palin's own child?

I don't, never did. No mom who has had several children goes nearly 24 hours with ruptured membranes without delivering a kid. No sane women who is with a near term pregnancy flies nearly 4,000 miles with contractions. No teenager needs to miss half a year of school for "mono."

Original article: The wrong man died

Wow

Why do people get married and have kids so young? Seems like a great way to ruin your life...

I think Marc is correct.

Herb Kohl?

Remember the old game on Sesame Street. One of these things is not like the other... Herb Kohl doesn't really belong on the list.

Please take your pills Mr. Keillor

They are a pain in the rear but they will add years to your life. Very glad to hear you're doing well, but just because you came away unscathed this time doesn't mean the beast is not still lurking nearby...

Take care of yourself!

I would like a copy!

Then I would have a great book -- plus 50 free pieces of paper to start my campfires with.

Someone should follow them around with 50,000 free boxcutters to remove the offending introduction.

Not Surprising

After serving in the military myself, this story is very typical of the kind of waste and laxity I witnessed. We need to cut the US military budget in half.
