Heres video of the minutemen at columbia. They decided to cancel thier speech after the stage was mobbed and it became clear that they had about 10 supporters in the entire crowd. This has nothing to do with the administration at columbia denying them access.
If you think that Jonathan Pollard should be freed, then it's only fair that you back giving freedom to Mordechai Vanunu, right?
Actually not really. Vanunu was a whistle blower. Pollard was convicted of spying for another nation. Apples and oranges.

If someone had expressed this kind of hate about some other group, the reaction here would have been strong. Just ignore it and It'll go away you say, if it's about the Jews. Give me a break. Of course I don't think posters here agree with this. I'd just love to see some reaction, without me bringing it up.
where was your outrage to a previous poster who called Glenn "nigger?" That's what i thought.
"and women can't vote and you HAVE to pray there and...oh forget it."

well the CIA must be lying on the behalf of Iran. Either that or you dont know what universal suffrage means.
just type "factbook iran" into google, you feel lucky.
People seem to forget that ahmadinejad won an election by 61% of the popular vote with over 60% of registered voters voting (including women, as iran has universal suffrage). That is leaps and bounds over what bush got in both the 2000 and 2004 elections. Callhim a dictator or whatever names you wish, but he actually both upholds the laws of his country, which are admittedly more strict than ours, and holds less powers than our president as he is not the commander in chief; ergo he has no blood on his hands as he is not in control of the military. give your recitation of propaganda a rest. and please educate yourselves on other elementary matters, such as:

Yeah. Those Iranian elections were SOOOO fair. Remember when the Guardian Council disqualified thousands of reform candidates? And remember how Ahmadinejad only garnered 20% of the vote in the first election before the runoff, in which he got 60%? I smell mandate! The Guardian Council effectively dismantled any reform movement through candidate disqualification, so quite a few moderates boycotted the process entirely.
Need I remind everybody here that Ahmadinejad, regardless of his power over the military (and I don't want to go to war with Iran, mind you), is the mouthpiece for a government that:
--executes more children than any other country in the world
you might want to come up with some actual evidence before you yammer on about things. according to amnesty international we (the US)are at the top of the game in executing child offenders.

additionally run off elections are arguably more democratic than multi party elections as they narrow the popular vote between the most populist canidates, therefore no one can "spoil" an election by getting a very small percentage of the vote.
You say that moderates boycotted, but with well over 60% of the eligible voters voting, they still beat turnout for most US elections.
As to disqualifying canidates, what about our own system, where the press disqualifies canidates simply by ignoring them. For instance: how many articles do you see about Dodd condemning the Move on vote as compared to hillary the mighty?
Get a grip on reality, there really is only one.
seriously, it would take me about 5 minutes to make that pic look almost real. They should start by getting rid of the obvious, and probably 3 pixel thick white line next to your head.
blah blah...
Glenn,
On a happier note for those of us who care about the rule of law, A judge struck down parts of the patriot act!

quit feeding this troll.
However, the bed wetting dems wouldnt have the courage to even propose such a bill and the republicans would probably fillibuster it. We have to face the fact that most democrats have plastic sheets.
I think that the MoveOn add was in poor taste, especially the overly sophomoric pun in the title. Selling policy is part of a general's jobs. Every general in every major war has had to do it. Additionally i think Patraeus is probably an honorable person, and is thrust into a somewhat untenable position, and is trying to do the best that he can with what he was given even if he disagrees with the policy. After all, his sector of Iraq was probably the most stable in the immediate aftermath of the war (at least according to Thomas Ricks' book Fiasco). That being said, condemning the criticism in congress is still completely pathetic, unwarranted, and unconstitutional, and the democrats who voted for it should be ashamed.
American political discourse isn't lonely in its use of Nazi comparisons.

Lets see the ADL condemn that...
"They didn't say much when
All of you endlessly yelled "Bushitler" either. Were you looking for us censor you? I mean I can do that - I can complain endlessly about that if that will make you happy."
Like people here carry the same weight as fox news... The ADL doesnt have to condemn joe racist for saying racist things to his friends, they condemn media personalities and famous people. Get a grip.
"Or, that the underground railroad had tracks."
Don't you find it funny that the ignorant and largely racist people that think the underground railroad had tracks, or was even literally underground, are, by extension, essentially accusing black slaves and white abolitionists of making what would be the greatest civil engineering accomplishment of its time?
Glenn,
He added a vaguely racist email from a fan of his to his quivering lip post. Just so you know....
