Original article: Death of the tobacco lobby

The tobacco lobby will never be completely dead...

As long as there's a Republican party to shill for them.

Sunday, June 14, 2009 09:24 PM

When the Army finally does start to take action against its Nazi troops....

We can fully count on Sean Hannity and the FoxNews team screaming "Liberal plot to weaken America" from every newscast.

Monday, June 15, 2009 04:03 AM

Steele the first -- "Just wonderin'."

Is that the usual FoxNews "Just wonderin'." that is meant to put some sort of negative idea "in play" without actually taking responsiblity for spreading it?

Unless you are prepared o cite real examples of this idea, then I charge you will spreading lies to cloud the issue.

Your charge may be true. If so please cite some real evidence (as opposed to WorldNetDaily for example). Otherwise you are just rumormongering... and a liar.

It's working

What else can one say?

In America, terrorism pays off: Particularly if one of the Political Parties signs onto it.

Accusations

Dick Cheney tossed the word "treason" around pretty freely against those with whom he disagreed. Has he apologized for denigrating the patriotism of democrats who love their country? Of course not. How many Conservatives said that Dick Cheney, as Vice President, was wrong to imply that anyone who thought that George W Bush was incompetent was guilty of treason? Maybe one or two?

Of course that was DIFFERENT, wasn’t it?

It doesn’t matter if Sen. Jim DeMint's endorses Rubio over Christ.

It will matter if Rush Limbaugh endorses Rubio over Christ. In which case he is toast with Republican voters.

Original article: Bomb Iran -- with love!

Republican saber rattling about Iran has nothing to do with Iran.

It has everything to do with playing to the Base on FoxNews. Any negative consequences for America are just collateral damage in Republicans lust for power.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009 04:17 AM

An olive branch

As usual, Barak Obama tries to compromise with the Right by not going as “far to the Left” as Right Wingnuts promised. In return for partly disappointing his supporters, the American Rightwing, and 99% of the Republican Party will give him exactly Zero Credit for it and use it as yet another indication that Barak Obama is the AntiChrist.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009 04:24 AM

Is Pence totally clueless or is he just pretending?

Pretending.

In my opinion, neither he, nor any other member of the Republican leadership, believes one word they say. After all they are all Pro-Life and they never put forth a Constitutional Amendment banning Abortion when they controlled Congress.

It’s all a sop to keep the Base loyal.

And it will work, 100%

Original article: Bomb Iran -- with love!

It is sad to watch....

Once upon a time John McCain was willing to go against the Religious Right and NeoCon wing of the Republican Party. Then he decided he really wanted the presidential nomination.

So he went on bended knee to apologize to Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell.

So he accepted Sarah Palin as his VP.

And now, apparently still paying off a campaign debt, he is echoing the “Bomb Iran” wing of the GOP.

It is sad to watch someone I once admired knuckle under to the fanatics of his party so abjectly.

Original article: Memo to President Obama

But if he does...

Can President Obama count on your backing? Or when he is in front of a media freightened by Conservaives, will you be nowhere to be found?

Saturday, June 20, 2009 02:32 PM

This entire protest could be brought to an end tomorrow...

If only the President of the United States would back Mousavi. Then he would be identified closely with the Great Satan and the goverment could crack down under that justification. Mousavi's supporters would melt away.

Why won't President Obama listen to FoxNews and undermine Mousavi through direct support?

George W. Bush would have.

Monday, June 22, 2009 09:35 PM

Anybody check on Rush Limbaugh?

Maybe they both took a "vacation" in the Dominican Republican together.

Monday, June 22, 2009 09:37 PM

Let me guess, does his wife leave him with the children and just take off?

Of course not.

If she did she would not be upholding Family Values.

Thursday, June 25, 2009 06:57 PM

Bull!

Every time Conservatives screw up their alibi, echoed by the media is "they are really Liberals", as though Liberals are inherently evil and anything that is wrong must be a "Liberal" act.

Conservatives, when they screw up, are acting like Conservatives. Because that is what they do.

Quit trying to use Liberals as an alibi for Conservatives. It is a lie and exempts Conservatives from personal accountability.

Thursday, June 25, 2009 07:01 PM

Tomorrow John McCain and Lindsey Graham will say...

That it is really Barak Obama..... in disguise.

Thursday, June 25, 2009 08:07 PM

Ted Kennedy

Conservatives will never abaondon their hate.

Tuesday, June 30, 2009 07:29 PM

Stay the course Mark!

My fondesty hope is for the Republicans to put up a Palin/Sanford ticket for President/VP in 2012.

The oddest part is that this wish puts (Liberal!) me in solid agreeent with 95% of Republicans in America.

Tuesday, June 30, 2009 07:35 PM

Or, better yet........

Palin/Sanford!

Wednesday, July 1, 2009 08:33 PM

I hope Governor Sanford stays on in office.

I hope he goes on FoxNews weekly to preach morality to America.

I hope he is nominated to run as Sarah Palin’s running mate for President/VP in 2012.

I hope he is the face of the Republican Party for the next ten years.

Friday, July 3, 2009 08:48 PM

Playing the victim card

Once again Republicans refuse to accept personal responsibility and declare, "It's all the Liberal Media's fault".

The Republicans will eat this up. They love to play victims. FoxNews will be running "Victim Sarah" stories for years, right through the 2012 elections.

Friday, July 3, 2009 08:57 PM

Not many outlets will run the ad...

But Foxnews will run it at least a dozen times a day, for at least the next week.

All in the interst of "fair and balanced" reporting on the controversy, of course.

Sunday, July 5, 2009 01:10 PM

Go Sarah, go!

Palin/Sanford in 2012 as the Republican nominees for President/VP.

I recommend that every Republican in America get behind this ticket. It is your dream come true. Just ask the Weekly Standard!

Sunday, July 5, 2009 07:51 PM

Who cares about her and what she thinks.

Every “core” Republican in the country, that’s who. And they can hardly wait to nominate her for president in 2012.

Monday, July 6, 2009 08:38 PM

How about this evaluation?

Robert McNamara knew the war was a mistake, yet he went along and wasted all those lives anyway.

For that he should burn in Hell, right next to Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon, forever.

Monday, July 6, 2009 08:41 PM

But can Franken guarantee Sotomayor vote or healthcare reform?

Not unless he has a spare spial column around he can lend to Harry Ried.

Wednesday, July 8, 2009 06:19 PM

Wrong about Sarah Palin's future

She has a very bright future with the Republican Party. She is a mirror of their hatreds and self-portrayal of victimhood.

As long as she plays the victim card, she will be a hit with the Republican base and collect millions of dollars in speaking fees to tell the Party Faithful how much she is a victim.

Friday, July 10, 2009 04:10 AM

Once again...

Kristol is wrong about everything.

Unfortunately SarahPalin is not going away. She is going to be a national Republican power for a decade, and the likely nominee in 2012.

Republican can paint their hates, resentments and "everyone picks on us" attitudes on her canvas. And that is what the will so.
