Something about Petard hoisting......

Yeah, that's the ticket!

Hey Groeny

When are you going to stop repressing your sexuality and just come out of the closet? Just do it already. I'm betting you'll like it. ALOT!

Shooter

It's not "unpopular opinions" it's the law. Remember that? It started getting seriously disregarded about.....2001. What a coincidence. Say, where you been hidin'? Trollin' elsewhere with your nonsensical comments I guess.

Friday, April 24, 2009 08:00 AM

Shooter

It's still about the law dickhead. Why do you have such disregard for the law?

Friday, April 24, 2009 08:48 AM

Wrong again Shooter.

I would push for prosecution of whoever violates the law. Unlike Republicans who thing it's only illegal if Democrats do it. Classic! As for name calling, if the moniker fits....

Omar

Who you calling out of line buddy? Don't make me come over there wherever there is located. Because I will, really. OK, not really. But I have to admit calling him that name was a way of expressing my exasperation. I should just stop replying probably. Point taken.

Original article: Let war crimes be bygones

I'm very sad for you.

I think the the part to focus on here is "crimes." If I rob a bank I don't think they are going to let bygones be bygones. Do you?

The "troops" are already in danger

That is their frickin' job. By releasing pictures, somehow this will magically put them in more danger? Bullshit.

Friday, May 15, 2009 10:41 AM

Oh shit Glenn, you

spelled his name wrong again! It's gonna get ugly. ;-)

Is there an exclusion for so called "American Citizens?"

Yeah, I didn't see one either. So basically American citizens can be "indefinitely detained" if decreed to be "too dangerous." Remind me again who makes the decree? Oh right, the King....er I mean President. Anyone been watching the Tudors? King Henry the 8th all over again. Great.

You really are off the rails. You so desperately want to believe that Obama is good and gracious that you can't even hear the words that he spoke. You remind me of the Kevin Bacon character in Animal House who is running around screaming "All is well" while mayhem ensues. Good luck with that.

Friday, May 22, 2009 09:45 AM

wbgonne

I really want to believe in Obama as well. However, the things he is saying and doing lead me in another direction. I'll reserve my final judgment until election day 2012 but at this point I'm not particularly hopeful.

Omar

You got NOBBY right in the nuts. Beautiful.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 10:42 AM

I'm personally waiting for the meteor to hit me.

Because of course that is more likely than being killed by a "terrorist." Maybe I'll play the lottery, the odds are probably better.

Farragutless

You can crawl back under your bed and crap your pants now. Oooh scary brown people on the loose.

Tuesday, June 16, 2009 08:22 AM

OT but important

Obama blocks access to WH visitor logs. This whole "transparency" thing is going down the shitter. WTF? Story at sig.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009 08:48 AM

But, but scary brown people.....

they're coming to get us. He's just trying to keep us safe. Right? What about the meteors? I want action on protection from meteors since you are more likely to be killed by one than by a terrorist.

Drip, drip, drip...

can we call it the "unitary executive" yet? I think the problem here is that Obama and his team know that only a fairly small percentage of people follow these issues and can be easily disregarded. I imagine a lot of people are just worried about having a job at this point.

Mike Sulzer

Very interesting information. I'm wondering how it translates into action. Do most of those people have any idea they could be detained without charges? Would that matter? Don't get me wrong, I think it's hopeful there are significant numbers of people that feel that way, I just don't know where it gets us. Seems the government has made a habit of ignoring the "will" of the people. Probably because they know they can get away with it.

Cheney needs to be protected from the Daily show

This is too funny except for the fact that Obama DOJ lawyers are the ones arguing it. Link at sig.
