[Read the article: After everything we did for them]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Take all your overgrown infants away somewhere

and build them a home a little place of their own

    the fletcher memorial

home for incurable tyrants and kings

and they can appear to themselves every day

    on closed circuit t.v.

to make sure they're still real

it's the only connection they feel

  • Denial

[Read the article: Right-wing noise machine: Plame not covert]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

There is no flag that is large enough

To hide the shame of a man in cuffs

You switched the signs, then you closed our blinds

You changed the channel, then you changed our minds

The remainder is an unjustifiable, egotistical power struggle

At the expense of the American dream.

  • Satire?

[Read the article: Tactics of the right-wing noise machine]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

One person commenting on Professor Campos article stated that Instapunk is "satire." Anyone get that impression based on his writing? I thought not.

The Republitrolls must be racking up serious McCain points here today.

  • Clearly,

[Read the article: Wash Post's Pearlstein: Anyone opposing the bailout is ignorant ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Mr. O'Neill and Mr. Allison have now been moved into the "they are liberals" column per Digby's previous description. The level of cognitive dissonance is nearly blinding.

[Read the article: The right's two-pronged religion of rage and self-pity]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It seems Brokaw is also a "special liaison" to the McCain campaign. Do you see any problem with that revelation? Link at sig. (I know, I know the NYT. Pravda on the Hudson. Watta' gonna' do?)

  • Hey ranti

[Read the article: Dan Balz's corrupted journalistic "balance"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You should stop looking in the mirror while typing. You could go blind. And besides your post does nothing to advance your anti abortion agenda.

  • Renascent

[Read the article: Dan Balz's corrupted journalistic "balance"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

So, guilt by association is the be all, end all of who someone is or will be? Obviously, you haven't looked too closely at McCain or Palin's associations. As for Empathy, it's apparent you don't know what that really means. Lack of empathy is a Republican family value so I'm not surprised.

  • (Oh, it is so nice to be back below the Mason-Dixon line.)

[Read the article: Rick Davis: The last 8 years encapsulated]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Um, I think you just proved everyone's point with this statement. Below the Mason-Dixon line where the men are men and the "Nigra's" are scared. Right?

  • I think these

[Read the article: Bipartisanship and threats of war toward Iran]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

two just need to go fu@k one another. Far more satisfying and no one else has to get involved.

  • WhatConstitution

[Read the article: Bipartisanship and threats of war toward Iran]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Do you have evidence for your assertion about the Stealth aircraft sale?

  • Mr. Sinnard

[Read the article: Bipartisanship and threats of war toward Iran]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Perhaps using the correct description of the plane involved would help. That aircraft is the Joint strike fighter NOT the stealth fighter. I likewise found information, link at sig.

[Read the article: Salon Radio: Cato's Gene Healy on domestic troop deployments]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

are "training" for these contingencies that concerns me. There are hundreds of thousands of soldiers stationed all over the country but they aren't "training" for these domestic contingencies. Why now? I'm trying to keep my tinfoil hat in the drawer but....there seems to be some kind of serious financial crisis or something going on.

  • Bravo Glenn!

[Read the article: Some observations on this week's television appearances]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I thought the Moyers interview was excellent. He let you get most of your points across without interruption. Very nice.

One thought I had while watching was, I can see how people can hear what you are saying and just don't want to believe it. They must be thinking "No, not my country, not my government, not my president." Unfortunately all the answers are yes. It scares the crap out of them. Me too a little. Thanks again Glenn. Truth to power.

  • Oh Chris and PDA, you make me laugh!

[Read the article: Discussing Israel/Gaza on right-wing talk radio]

  • Jackson also discusses the principal of universality.

[Read the article: America then and now]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In sentencing the nazi criminals to death he states "if certain acts of violations of treaties are crimes, they are crimes whether the United States does them or whether Germany does them....to pass these defendants a poisoned chalice is to put it to our own lips as well." Eloquent. However, the wording of the "crimes" was crafted to exclude war crimes clearly committed by the US and it's allies. Admiral Doenitz successfully used the argument that we had done it too and therefore were not crimes. He was acquitted on many of the charges. History is fun! Too bad nobody can remember it.

  • War as a spectator sport

[Read the article: Both parties cheerlead still more loudly for Israel's war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This article is pretty saddening. Although I guess this is just an extension of watching wars on CNN. Link at sig.
