Women should not be president
[Read the article: Clinton: "This campaign goes on"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I made alot of calls for Hillary in Wisconsin before the primary there. I spoke to two women (yes, women) in Eau Claire, WI who said they were voting for Barack Obama because they did not believe a woman should ever be president. I wonder if this is why the results of HRC's campaign don't make sense. She is the most qualified to do a great job as president and yet voters flock to Obama when even the people endorsing him cannot name one accomplishment he has made for the American people, when he copies his rhetoric from other politicians, and copies policy proposals from HRC. We Americans deserve what we get. We did nothing when Bush performed his bloodless coup d'etat with the Supreme court in 2000 and 2004. Now, we embrace a man who has a political record so thin, it is difficult to pin down exactly what he'll do for us as President. We deserve what we get, America.

This article is pap
[Read the article: A new face for American diplomacy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I guess Mr. Majd believes that because Obama has a muslim name, they'll automatically decide that the great USA devil is no longer crushing their manifest destiny. Gee Mr. Majd, who are you going to vote for? This article sounds like propoganda to me. Great countries have lost their leadership role in the world over and over again throughout history and the USA is on the brink of that reality now. We no longer control the dollar (too many offshore dollars), we have a multitrillion dollar trade deficit, are in a war where there is now a political vacuum, social security is all but bankrupt etc. The stakes are high for this election people! Remember when the British pound sterling was the currrency of trade? They screwed up their foreigh policy with Germany and that was it. No longer a world power. Please, let's not vote in the guy who makes us feel good but has no track record, Democrats. Let's nominate the person who will get the job done so our country and place in the world is secure. Wake up everybody from the dream. Regardless of what Obama's name is, how great of a speech he gives, how inspiring he is, he DOES NOT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO GET US OUT OF THE MESS WE ARE IN. I'll continue to support HRC for the nomination becasue of her foreign relations experience and expertise. The rest of the world could care less what the name of our president is, they just want to know what is in it for them.

It should be
[Read the article: Obama's borrowed words]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Aren't we at all concerned that Obama and Patrick have been marketed to us and are not capable of providing what they preech? I think this is why HRC won in the Massachusetts primary. The people in Massachusetts found out that Patrick's rhetoric was empty, no results. We should all heed this message from Massachusetts: Patrick is a governor who ran a campaign like Obama's who proved himself unable to deliver on his promises of change. Obama's copycat speech is revelatory of what kind of a president he would make (i.e ineffective like Patrick's governorship), that is why it is important.

Obama a Healer?
[Read the article: The Obama photo flap]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am offended by Obama's response to this photo. Obama has little faith in the American voter as shown by his responding to the photograph as if it is criptonite. How will he heal the world if he is this afraid that the American voter will reject him if he reminds us of his African heritage? Does he think that he is the only democrat with high ideals? Well, friends, this is why I think Obama is an elitist. He thinks only he has the answers and only he can show us the way to a bright future. This photo scuffle shows that he has no faith in the heart of America or in our ability to reach out to the world. He is no leader. He is indecisive and does not believe in the largess of the American soul or the strength of the American spirit.

No experience=Not okay
[Read the article: It's OK to vote for Obama because he's black]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm sorry Gary, I do not agree that it is okay to overlook Obama's limited experience because of his race. I have wavered on this, though. It would be so healing socially for our country to have a black President. But, I cannot overlook the danger this country is in right now, and how much we need a competent President on day one. I think Obama has potential to be an effective President, but at this point, I think his inexperience will result in incompetence. The first 120 days of any Presidency is when the president is the most strong and if experienced, can change the course of this country. Obama is not ready for this. Give him four or eight more years in Washington, get him on the foreign relations committee for a while, let him develop his relationships in Washington with Republicans, and then I'll campaign for the guy and donate to the max for him. This year, its HRC, even though she is not black.

Response to Macro
[Read the article: It's OK to vote for Obama because he's black]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hey Macro: If a person looks like they are black in this country, they are treated with racism and are oppressed. It doesn't matter what their "bloodline" says. The 50% idea is oppressive in and of itself.

Hillary, stay in the race!
[Read the article: Should Hillary Clinton drop out?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The longer HRC stays in, the more we learn about Obama. It has been a long time coming, but the air needs to be cleared and Obama's real nature and the nature of his campaign need to be recognized. read this:
