"Karma is justice without the satisfaction"

I bet you Timothy Leary would have been very satisfied with today's sentence.

So Sad

Damn Tim...You're the reason I'm here at Salon. I've enjoyed nearly all of your 4,000 posts. Reading them is one of the first things I do in the morning. Your insight and humor will be missed.

Seems like you just sold you soul. Best of luck, though.

Bring it on Alex! I look forward to reading more of your posts once you take over.

bebop-o rocks!

I've enjoyed every comment I've ever read from this man. I think we inherited him when Salon picked up Glenn Greenwald. Of all the comments I find anywhere on any site, his are the only one that make me think. And his subtle jabs at G.O. make my day! I find that he can pick apart most people without them ever really knowing. He is pure genius. Today's nut is tomorrow's mighty oak. Keep it up ClownSense, you rock!!!

One of Frederico's Letters to the Editor

"Send That Man A Check

Since I don't really support the majors yet, I've been thinking about sending small checks, like $5 or $10, to candidates when I see them heading in a direction I think is positive.

I figure that if enough people do it, it will add up to a nice sum for the candidate and if enough people send in a small amount, it will tell them people are listening.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich deserves $15 for his noble effort in trying to bring these oligarchs to justice. I encourage others to do the same. If just 100 people sent in $10, that's $1000, 1000 checks is $10,000. Let 'We the People' get someone in the White House that really works for we, the people."

Unlikely?

Why would it be unlikely that millions will start buying the PS3 for its Blu-Ray disc-playing capabilities?

With the price of the PS3 and a new Blu-Ray stand-alone so close together, wouldn't it be a waste of money to just pick up a Blu-Ray player that doesn't play games? Don't I get more for the same money?

Is PS3's Blu-Ray player not the same as a stand-alone player?

I'd like to know soon. I was going to pick one up today :]

@Rubick Cube

Read the comic? Notice the title? "He came to save them from democracy!"

Acronyms

The acronyms are no different than station call letters. They represent the source of the story. Not that hard to figure out if you own a radio or TV.
