She'll do O.k.

I think Senator Obama will do all he can to make sure that Senator Clinton has a place at the table going forward.

Maybe not the Big Table, but Something, She may opt to leave the Senate if the work no longer fullfills her, since the opportunities are limited for her advancement at this time.

The Governorship of New York is a possibility, and Patterson might find his old job much less stressfull without the current light of scrutiny.

From New York Hillary gets to keep her big stage, and maybe even move on from there.

Ambassador to the UN is a real possibility, or she can just do like her husband and go on the lecture circuit and make a few hundered million more.

She'll be just fine.

2 cents to get lost in the pile...

But o.k. let's say Senator Clinton's only reason to bring up the issue was to highlight the notion of late primary battles...

Then why pick that primary battle?

Could it be that primary battles that go on this long aren't that common? Her husbands didn't inspite of her protestations to the contrary, so perhaps these things are rare, and she shouldn't be making the argument.

But of course, we know that Primary Fights did go to the convention floor, and if Teddy Kennedy had been on her mind why not just mention Teddy's fight?

No, it's a stupid story. I don't think there is a Vince Fosteresque conspiracy in the works with regard to Hillary's hopes for the whitehouse. But why bring it up?

You know...I mentioned this earlier elsewhere, and the more I think of it, I think Clinton is an empty suit.

Let's face it, she's never really had to participate in a political campaign, except to smile politely and wave at Bill. She took a safe Senate Seat unopposed in her party and out spent the poor second stringer sent in to try and beat her.

She doesn't know politics, she doesn't know people, she's really just a rich man's wife playing at politics. she may be a policy wonk, and perhaps she has a future in academia, but she is no politician.

That's harsh I know, but I can't find any other way to explain why a woman with money, universal name recognition, and a lifetime in politics could be so ham handed, and idiotic on the campaign trail.

She's an empty suit...that's all there is...there is no there there.

She has gotten far on the strength of her husbands name and record, but up against a real politician who is on message and on his feet 24/7 the pant suit just never had a chance.

Women's Wrestling...

O.k...so this is maybe a strange question...but why does wrestling need a men's and women's division (aside from the obvious reason).

I mean, wrestling is weight classed, so a lighter more flexible woman would be up against a lighter more flexible man.

Yeah, probably non-sex seperated wrestling would not be as popular, but from a shear sportspersons issue, there really isn't a strong argument for seperating the sexes in this sport.

Which comes to what my central feeling on title IX is, a way of creating seperate but equal sports for women to keep them from competeing equally with males.

We see more and more women participating in collegete sports and succeeding, isn't time we just said to heck with it, and stopped with the puritanical sex seperation in athletics?

Certainly women and men will have different advantages in certain sports, but that will likely change the way the games are played and in general make the entire sport more interesting.

Oh well...that's my thought.

Hating the Clintons...

Your know...it's funny being on the other side of the looking glass with the rest of the universe yet still looking in on all those lost in the fantasy world of Senator Clinton.

Ms. Walsh, if someone is shocked by the outrage that someone inspires perhaps you should look at the person inspiring the outrage.

Senator Clinton has done nothing but bemoan her unloved status in this race since she lost Iowa. She and her husband have routinely appealed to the lowest common denominators of the electorate in hope of winning this nomination.

She lies and continues to lie about her motivations, her history, and the loss of the popular vote.

The main stream media have been more than kind in their treatment of this woman who lies at the drop of a hat, and mismanages her campaign like a sailor on leave.

A male candidate with Senator Clinton's record of fabrication and flip floppery would not have gotten past Iowa. Senator Clinton came in as the annointed front runner and until her complete lack of skill as a politician was revealed was fully supported by every major figure in the press.

Then she started to fail, and flail, as she does so to this day, and as patriotism is a little crowded now a days, feminism becomes this scoundrel's last refuge.

No I don't think she want's Senator Obama to get shot, but if he was, she would wast no time pressing her case for healing in the party and her own nomination.

If the Clinton's dont' want to be hated, they should be less hateful.

And if the argument is that a small number of lunatics who are so seperated from reality as to think that Clinton's detractors are motivated by her sex and not her ineptitude, then I think I'll stay on the right side of the looking glass looking in at all you folks who are certain that up is down and day is night.
