Senator Clinton,likely isn't a racist.
But she is pandering directly to the racist vote.
A difference far to subtle for most of us.
Hillary Clinton winning this nomination, after all of this, is a both a guarnantee of defeat and a moral outrage.
You can pick your reason to support Barak Obama, but support him you must, or else vote for McCain and undo Roe V. Wade in the next four years.
I support Barak, beause he has won the popular vote, and the delegate count, or at least will have by the end of the month. I also support him because I honestly think he was the best person for the job.
If Hillary Clinton through her race baiting and pandering to fretful superdelegates over turn the will of the people who voted, I will still vote for her, as horrendous as I think she is, but I know I will be in the minority on that issue.
Hillary Clinton, with these horrific words, have nailed her coffin shut (provided the media actually make a point of showing these words as much as they did the bitter comment).
What is her defense? Barak Obama could turn around and say, the working class are bitter, and many in the working class (myself included) said in return, yes we are! Is Hillary's defense to say White Americans are Hard Working? While it is true, perhaps, there is no reason to single out the white in that message unless your purpose is to exclude the non-white.
We've delt with lies, we've delt with panders, now you ask us to deal with this?
I'm sorry ProudTexasGirl, we need something better than that in the oval office.
Tired was her excuse on Bosnia too...
For a woman who prides herself on 3 AM phone calls, tired is not really a good defense.
I wonder if she got enough sleep when she said the president of Russia had no soul, or that we should Obliterate Iran.
If she's in the Whitehouse I suggest she take up Ronald Regan's nap schedule so she can be fresh when those phone calls come in.
It's not who she's carrying it's who she's targeting.
White Americans, who are of course hard working.
Her statement was clear.
Working - she Corrects herself - Hard Working Americans, then to make sure no one is confused, White Americans.
I wonder how her Latino supporters take this?
I know some Latinos consider themselves white, but I don't know how many in Peurto Rico do.
Has Senator Clinton made a statement on this statement yet, or are we just to talk amongst ourselves at it's obvious meanings.
If her explaination is sleepyheadedness again however, perhaps we should start raising the age issue, since she may have chronic fatigue syndrome.
for those who say "Well Barak Pulls largly from African Americans, so why is that not taboo".
It is not taboo, because Barak has yet to stand up and say, "Hillary Can't Win Without us Black Folk!"
We all know it, but we all also understand how damaging to his campaign and our society it is.
The Clinton's by contrast have never not taken an oportunity to point out that Barak pulls from African Americans, much in the way Jesse Jackson did.
They had up to this point at least try to subtle in their race baiting...now, not so much.
It is differnt because the world is differnt.
African Americans have never enforsed social codes on whites by punishment of death.
That's the differnce, that will likely always be the differnce, until we rise up as a group and shout down the politics of fear and injustice that the Clintons are advocating at this time.
It doesn't matter if they have done good, or even if they will do good with their power through this manipulation. When you lay down with racists, when you empower racist, when you give them comfort, even just to further a nobel cause, you can't get their motivations out of your actions no matter what you do.
For those of you defending Senator Clinton, think about exactly what you're defending at this point.
Clinton's entire argument is that the Super Delegates should over turn the popular vote of non-whites, whites with college degrees, and a smaller portion of whites without college degrees (myself included), because a larger portion of whites without college degrees voted for her, and they will not vote for Barak.
Now let's just step away from the race baiting nature of her phraseology, I don't think I can convince you of that any way, let's just look at her argument in total.
The popular vote doesn't matter, only the choice demographic matters. It's not one person one vote, it's not even weighted voting for demographic importance, it's one demographic all the votes.
Is that the Democratic Party you want to belong to?
If I wanted to vote for a party that concerned itself with pandering, demagoguery, and ignoring the popular will, I'd vote Republican. You can't deny they have the experience on the subject.
