Good work.
analysis is not useful.
This is a meaningful topic, but a meaningless contribution to it. You can do better.
These pun columns make me laugh hard. Thanks, Mr. Breathed!

I am also a long-time subscriber. I read Fix every day, and have, all the way back to Amy Reiter.
I'm sooooo disappointed. I don't want to go to the other gossip rags. I like how you summarized.
ps. I didn't like the new format so much.

Turn out (or way down) the lights and don't do sleepovers. You won't have to look at dumpy bodies and you won't have to deal with morning stuff. Set expectations for a romantic routine. Tell him, "After we make love, I'm going to kiss you, get my robe, and walk slowly to the bathroom. When I blow you a kiss, that's your cue to get dressed and leave."
They set a good example. They should marry, if they want to, of course. But I hope they don't. Just to spite stupid reporters.
Though it loaded fully, the video stops when BM talks about Alito.
I don't like them so much.
I gained 30 pounds during my son's mother's pregnancy. One month after his birth, she weighed 2 lbs less than her pre-pregnancy weight. One month after his birth, I weighed 30 pounds more than my pre-pregnancy weight.
The role of argument strikes me in this letter. The writer mentions standing his ground in an argument. I'm sure that feels like strength, but it is weak. It sounds like neither the husband nor the wife is capable of actually communicating. How could good, healthy sex happen when they're facing off and standing ground? No wonder.
Wow! I don't know if a thoughtful response to that question would occur to me. Good for her.
and you should know that, as a reader since 1997 (I think it was the "This American Life" Table Talk section...did it start with another name?...that really grabbed me. I met some great people there, some of whom are still good friends.
I think I read the Fix (and Nothing Personal before it) more regularly than any other Salon column. I've been frustrated for a long time and just now am writing about it.
It seems to me that the Fix has become a summary of the Drudge Report's news from the previous day. Booooring. Come on. give us something we don't know or create a gossip blog like the Dauo report with constant updates. Just don't keep telling me the same things everyone else is telling me.
