Oh, its not "race"?

To the "its not his race" and the "Colin Powell could be President" people:

Ask yourselves why Ken Blackwell and Lynn Swann aren't governors right now? Or why Michael Steele isn't a U.S. Senator?

This race isn't over, but if we are going to start "votin' for our own", then perhaps blacks need to re-examine the reasons why we continue to support those who will not support us.

I'm just thinking out loud.

The Republican Victim Card

@Robsh

Republican Playbook page 27

Play the race card and divide the electorate. Gwen Ifill was chosen and agreed upon by both the McCain and Obama camps. Blame your team for being sloppy.

@Mo O'donnell

Sarah's hair is from the same poor bald headed Indian children YOU claimed provided Michelle Obama's hair. Don't you agree?? It looks pretty cool

@ Amerigo

"But if she does decide to shoot off a line about Neil Kinnock, (known in some circles as Kinnochio), then how is Biden going to respond?"

Keating 5, Troopergate, Bridge to No Where - take your pick.

Wow. One debate can answer the $10,000 question

If it takes only one debate after a short political career of ethics scandal after rape kit scandal to make someone seem qualified to be leader of the free world, God help us. Or at least help me, not the people who will vote for McCain-Palin.

Original article: How Sarah Palin blew it

Did she give a terrorist wink of the eye to Osama Bin Laden?

I'm listening to a white woman on CNN who said that Ms. Shoutout is ready to be the President of the United States. The hypocrisy of White people is being exposed daily with John McCain's pick of Gov. Palin. From out-of-wedlock pregnancies, shaky educational credentials, drug abuse, corruption to ethics challenges, white people have very low standards for other white people, especially white women.

I don't want to hear the phrase "Affirmative Action" from the lips of you hypocritical morons.

Original article: A tale of two faces

@RR

I asked some Republican friends of mine if they cared about the fact that their maverick met secretly with Pinochet and wanted Reagan to deal with him, the fact that their maverick's campaign manager was receiving fees from Fannie and Freddie as recent as two months ago, and that their maverick's wife had a business relationship with Charles Keating until recently and whether these things gave them any insight into McCain's character. They told me they didn't care. The MSM should investigate these stories, but they are not getting any traction. Shame that.

Could Christopher Hitchens be on to something??

I'm not calling the race for Obama yet but I wonder if the post-mortem of this race will include a thorough investigation into McCain's physical and mental health. I think his campaign is hiding something.

Pensacola is Joe Scarborough country!

That redneck fathead represented the last vestiges of antebellum South in Florida a while back. That's why I can only listen to that unfunny know-it-all blowhard in 2 minute chunks. I'm not surprised Pensacola is a pocket of stupidity in Florida.

@ PaaCman

I hope your employees send around a flyer telling Obama supporters not to patronize your business. I personally hope you go bankrupt for being such a fascist dick.

Original article: Gays in the age of Obama

Hardcore white racists

Some of the biggest and most notorious bigots in Hollywood are white gays. I hope you gays find help from the courts because all of this racial scapegoating will continue to help the opposition to gay marriage. Blacks waited more than 200 years to realize full citizenship and participation in America. Where were the white gays during this time? A few were working for equality but most were enjoying the benefits of institutionalized racism. Think about that while you're bitching about Prop 8.

Original article: Blago's bold Burris move

Some whites are stunningly superficial

To Anawolfmomma

It would be nice if white women would stop their hypocrisy. I for one don't see the difference in an ex-Panther calling for a Senate seat to be filled by a Black person and a White female editor of an online magazine calling for a white woman to fill a Senate seat in New York, but whatever... and oh btw Black colleges have been integrated for decades. You might want to get a clue.

What we witnessed yesterday was delicious political theatre. Bobby Rush accomplished his agenda by daring the Illinois Democratic establishment to appoint someone other than a Black democrat. Blago accomplished his objective of lobbing a grenade into the Illinois Democratic party by making an appointment he can legally make. No Senate seat is a black seat or white feminist seat, but what Rush expressed was just a glimpse of the impolite political talk that should happen behind closed doors, not in a weird press conference.

Outdated racial and gender politics certainly backfired on you, didn't Joan?

I don't understand why you're invited on any cable news program to opine on politics. I find you to be mediocre and superficial in your analysis of most issues, Joan.

Original article: Chris Rock's good hair day

Sacrifices for someone else's perception of beauty

What is "good" hair? My definition is "good" hair is something you can grow out of your own scalp. We're one hundred and fifty some odd years off the plantation, and still we just can't let go of this stuff.

Women do all kinds of things for beauty. From breast augmentations and tanning, which are far more dangerous than hair weaves, to starving ourselves to death. Saving for my retirement is more important than spending a fortune for yakky or hawaiian silky. I won't do it...and I have good hair because I have hair.

This article is sexist!!!

Salon has managed to reduce an educated lawyer, wife, and mother to an ass and hairstyle. Joan should stop gawking at blacks like we are under glass in a museum. Erin Kaplan should get a shrink.

Closeted homosexual, Matt Drudge, linked to this article

The implosion continues inside of Redstate America. Confederate, Katon Dawson, is organizing a coup against Michael Steele. Rush is lunching on Newt and a nutcase just shot up southern Alabama.

This is god's will.

It was only a matter of time

It was only a matter of time before Matt Drudge's minions would start RACE BAITING on Salon.com. Like this little nugget from a right-wing hater...

"1-20-13

says it all. Obama will put race relations back 20 years and our wallets about 50.

This is what the Republican Party is about.
