  • No more minstrel movies

    [Read the article: "First Sunday"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I'm not watching another movie with a predominately black cast until black actors decide not to act in movies where they are required to portray stereotypical shuffling, mumble-mouthed, bug-eyed, criminal degenerates. Soul Plane anyone?

  • Was Tim shucking and jiving during the interview?

[Read the article: More about race and the Democrats]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Hillary's comments about King were unnecessarily stupid because it diminished the importance of Black activists who laid their lives on the line to eradicate Jim Crow. Sista soljah? I don't know.

Oh, what exactly have the Clintons done for Blacks during their so-called civil rights careers? This canard, like the first black president garbage, is often repeated by the white mainstream media, but no one seems to back this statement up with facts and details. Well I know Bill signed the racist Crack/Coke Drug Bill which led to the incarceration of millions of Black non-violent drug users and dealers while pushing white coke users and dealers into rehab and probation. I don't know, perhaps Hillary's "Maccaca" moment will inspire us to re-examine our loyalty to a party that rewards us with token made-up powerless positions in the DNC and not much else. I should note that the only reason there are Black Democrats in Congress is because they are elected by Black Democratic voters. Barry Obama's campaign is quite remarkable when you think about it.

  • The Lazy News Media

[Read the article: Sound and fury on the campaign trail]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This is great article. You are right, black leadership responds to symbolism. The news media are dazzled by the first this and the first that, but no one is critically comparing and contrasting the records and ideas of the four remaining Democratic candidates. Hell, no one is discussing ideas or records on both sides. The msm is useless.

  • Black voters will defect

[Read the article: Sound and fury on the campaign trail]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

White democrats have defected twice already, Fender. I'm sure you've heard of the terms "Reagan Democrats" and "Southern Strategy". No, the it's time for Black voters to become independent and examine why it is we support a white-led and dominated party that takes us for granted.

  • Alizoom

[Read the article: Our first black president?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I cosign what you wrote. I'm not voting for her under any circumstances.

  • White "progressives" exposed!

[Read the article: Don't call Oprah a "traitor"!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Yes, Oprah is a free woman and the bitter white Hillary-ites can watch the View.

After reading the letters of many Hillary-supporters and I presume white democratic voters, I've come to the conclusion that when it comes to the issue of RACE, they are NO MORE ENLIG

HTENED than some of the most die-hard klansman. I've read some fair, albeit uninformed criticism of Senator Obama, but more often than not I've read where WHITE so-called PROGRESSIVES compare this black U.S. Senator to the likes of Ray Nagin, Michael Vick, and OJ. I'm not surprised. Most blacks expect this type of nonsense from white so-called PROGRESSIVES. We know YOU PEOPLE are upset about the uppity Negro senator and his black supporters that do not know their place. How dare these negros not vote for a white woman.

To you white so-called progressives, our place is in a supportive, servile role in the Democratic party. Bullshit. I'm not supporting Hillary. Fuck her and her hysterical, racist, and desperate supporters.

Next time, I'll compare Hillary to Hitler.

    Go Oprah and Obama.

  • Give me a break Hillaryites

[Read the article: The race for California]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I'm starting to notice that the tighter this election gets, the more shrill and desperate Hillaryites get. The explosion of racially-tinged posts sniping at Black democrats, Barack and Michelle, and white democrats supportive of Barack Obama tells the story. White democrats are experienced in racial campaigning. They are used to telling Blacks and Latinos one thing and white suburban soccer moms another. They are surprised when a candidate like Barack Obama can essentially tell all voters the same thing. Hillary and other white dems must rely on RACIAL MATH. The rest of us have moved on.

  • Hillary Clinton and John McCain are not qualified to be President of the United States

[Read the article: It's OK to vote for Obama because he's black]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Being white does not entitle you to a position of importance or authority.

Hillary Clinton would not be in the Senate if her last name was Smith. Her much disputed "35 years" of experience making bad decisions, allowing the Right to frame the issues, and mismanaging tasks inside campaigns demonstrates her lack of leadership and competence.

John McCain does not have the temperment to be the President of the United States. His cozy relationship with lobbyists like Jack Abramoff exposes him as a corrupt phony.

Barack Obama has been able to excite voters on the campaign trail and the old white people and Gary (Mr. Backhanded dismissive compliment of Barack Obama's 11 years of legislative experience) Kamiya are jealous.

  • Hardball

    [Read the article: Mississippi turning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I watched Joan on Hardball this evening. She cautions Barack Obama on his "glibness", but I think she should take her own advice. Her extremely condescending back-handed compliment of Michelle Bernard was unnecessary and sexist.

  • Okay Sweeties

[Read the article: First lady and Miss Buffalo Chip]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Barack Obama calls a female report "sweetie" and middle-aged, affluent white Hillary Harpies went apesh%t. John McCain wants the world to check out Cindy's tits and not a peep from the Hillary Harpies. Surprise, surprise.

My friends, this is not about what Barack eats or drinks for breakfast, or what he gives or doesn't give his kids for Christmas, or holding his hand over his heart during the Star Spangled Banner, or "not knowing his core" and other BS the clingy, bitter, white malcontents are trying to push. My friends, this is about an uppity colored man not knowing his place. At least foot shufflin' Miss Daisy-drivin Harold Ford knows his.

  • Points for posts

[Read the article: Michelle Obama's military strategy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Hi Carol, I hope you win McCain's points for posts contest. I'm sure an autograph picture of the senator and his hot gazillion milf will ease your pain..

  • Urban Legends

[Read the article: What's up with black names, anyway?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If the white people on this thread want to make a MEANINGFUL contribution to this thread, they are going to have to STOP pushing the same-old URBAN LEGEND BS about ORANJELLO AND LEMONJELLO. We've seen it twice already on this thread and its often used by white people from Alaska to Maine. It's BS folks. It's almost as common about the urban legends surrounding affirmative action.

    It's silly.

  • @ Ms. Taken

[Read the article: What's up with black names, anyway?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    Whatever, liar.

The Oranjello and Lemonjello myth has been debunked twice already.

  • Buck is not an attorney

[Read the article: Isn't she lovely?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

He doesn't reason like someone who has had a sniff of a law book. I'm calling BS on that fraud.
