Original article: Palin booed at Flyers game

Governor, you're no Santa Claus

Idiotic stunt by idiotic ownership, they should have booed loader. I am born and raised in Philly, but you shouldn't have to be to know this was yet another incredible error in McCain/Palin judgment.

And Philadelphia fans are quite smart, and known when they are being played for a stunt.

Gee...

Wonder what kind of V.P. she would be?

Thursday, October 9, 2008 10:12 AM

Sad thing is...

...people will buy into this crap.

Or are these tactics only appealing to the already convinced "Just look at his name" base.

Why won't journalists talk about how the Republicans always try and use blacks and blackness to "scare" people? Racist f*ckers.

A real great trait in the leaders of the free world, huh?

Quite the transformation

When did he turn into this angry little troll of a man?

Is this leadership?

He certainly is taking Rove's advice (c'mon, we all know who is driving this negative train to nowhere) very seriously.

McCain Snatches Defeat from the Jaws of Victory!!!

Take that, American public who cover in fear at this terrible economic mess caused by BushCo's best buddies!!!

McCain showed us. Always the Hero.

My friends, people should fear this guy's lobbying ties more

$1,800,000: Amount Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) campaign manager Rick Davis was paid as president of a lobbying company founded to defend Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from stricter regulations, over five years. “The value that he brought to the relationship was the closeness to Senator McCain and the possibility that Senator McCain was going to run for president again,” a former Fannie spokesman said.

Original article: Palin's peculiar lie

The Rove Lying Syndrome

It becomes such a common practice to lie, keep lying, and never stop lying (the "Rove Lying Syndrome") that the repubs sometimes lie about things they don't even have to lie about.

The problem for someone attacking them is that there are so many lies, it becomes a big blur.

One lie, or one misstatement, is easier to target, e.g., the "lipstick/pig" thing.

McCain does not know the difference between Iraq and Iran, but it gets lost in the fact that he doesn't know the difference between anything else either.

So, total deceit and incompetence is tough to target.

Original article: New heights of stupidity

"How do we beat the bitch?"--- McCain: "Ha ha ha"

The fake indignation of the Repubs knows no limits, and the Dems should know this. Obama and Biden need to attack and keep attacking until the polls are closed.

Original article: Handicapping Palin pick

Desperation

So much analysis, so much over thinking.

This was a desperate pick from a desperate candidate.

Friday, August 29, 2008 10:38 AM

they did it...

Well, the McCain camp really showed.....just about no one.

Tired, calculated, reach of a pick. A pick just for the sake of it.

A FOX news anchor choice

Well, McCain's VP choice effectively takes the experience issue off the table. And she's purty, too.

Guess McCain wants the two votes he might pick up from disgruntled anti-choice Hillary supporters.

Original article: Is McCain winning?

Dems always find a way

The Dems always find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. HOW could the Obama team not have learned the lessons of Bush v. Gore and Bush v. Kerry??? Mind boggling.

They need to go right at McCain, he has so many weaknesses, it's a matter of choosing the worst of a bunch.

Lie-Berman

Hard to argue that Joe doesn't share every attribute with his new party of choice.

Original article: Message: I listen

When should Bush have been listening?

Um...shouldn't Bush have been listening, oh, I don't know, a few years ago?

After years of this painful and utterly destructive "war" without end, now the President of the United States thinks it's a good idea to sit down and think about what to do.

Golf and Luck

How much of a sport played outdoors on someone's lawn, subject to changing weather conditions, where people are walking on the course all day in spiked shoes, on dirt and sand, is luck?

Is golf the sport where luck plays the biggest part?

Original article: Kerry's words, Bush's war

Right where Dems wanted them, and then....

I really think the Dems (and in effect the U.S.) are simply doomed to operate under the BushCo regime and the Repubs until 2008.

Just when the stars are aligned, Kerry "the merry jokester" fvcks it up again. Yes, I do think many Americans are stupid enough to be distracted by this non-issue, and yes, I do think something this idiotic could tip the balance.

Of course Kerry said nothing wrong, and there is no need for an apology. But with few Dems coming to his defense out of fear, this will be a one-sided issue, with the Repubs having all the good talking points.

Original article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily

Failing upwardly/sidewasely

His career record is slightly above-average, but in my view, he was often given talent that he didn't do enough with.

When he had a bad team, the record was bad. When he had a good team, the record was fair, but not great. He never took any team over the top.

I never saw him as a great tactician. Is he so good he makes it look effortless? Or just not that good, and it looks precisely how it is: not that good.

Friday, August 25, 2006 07:31 AM

Oh how I wish

I wish that someone in the newly emboldened Press Corps. would ask the very simple and direct question of someone in the BushCo administration: "Did President [sic] Bush have the inherent power to order wiretapping prior to 9/11?"

Friday, August 4, 2006 08:47 AM
Original article: When cowards attack

Playing to their "strengths"

The political strategy Rove embodies plays to the target audience's ignorance.

Like their president, it is not just that Bush supporters are ignorant of the truth. It is that they are *willfully* ignorant, and *prefer* to be ignorant. Just like the man they elected.
