If anyone wants the delegates seated and will sue for it, push to hold a legitimate vote for MI and FLA all over again. Good Luck on the delegates HRC!

What HRC has is negative campaigning. Brace yourself for what's coming from the Obama camp. I never wanted an ugly campaign but the Clinton camp has long since shown itself to go negative early and often. Here, it worked even though it has hurt Hillary too (take a look at the exit polls). The next few weeks will, I predict, be nasty beyond belief. Already Obama's camp has stated that they will be going after the Clintons in similar fashion.
You seem to very conveniently forget that the Clintons have a treasure trove of dirt that hits at every possible type of scandal: sexual impropriety (absolutely true & several of them), dubious fundraising (Lincoln bedroom anyone?), shady land deals (White Water), the midnight culling of reports amid the suicide of Vince Foster (is there ANY positive spin on that?) and the list goes on.
The Clintons opened the door and according to at least one Obama campaign advisor, the Obama campaign will now retaliate in kind. I wish they wouldn't but it seems like negative really hurt Obama. Sorry, but I have to agree with those who say President John McCain. The Clintons are trying to win the battle but they'll lose the war.
I can't see how someone who has been handily defeated in a majority of democratic contests after having resided in the White house for 8 yrs and the Senate subsequently, can be viewed as a sure shot at ANYTHING. Clinton has led a remarkably bitter, poorly managed, and negative campaign. You really think she won't be trounced in any general election?
The bottom line is that she is a poor candidate. Her most effective message has been one of tearing down her opponent rather than drawing people into the process. That's a loser of a game, especially in a general election.
Carlson is a perfect example of why "journalism" is nearly dead in the United States. He accuses another journalist of being "hurtful" for printing an accurate quote but that doesn't keep him off the frequently scurrilous Laura Ingram radio show. Give me a break! These people are buffoons and Carlson is a big joke.
The GOP would clearly love to face Hillary Rodham Clinton in the fall. The GOP cannot make the same attacks against Obama (experience, economy, security) without opening up the huge gaping wound that is the state of our nation...under THEIR guy GWB. I'm sure they'll try but look how effective their attacks have been? They have no higher ground from which to attack and they know it. Toss in their disgruntled base, an angry electorate, and Obama's dedicated following and you have the recipe for a Democratic ticket win.
OTOH, Clinton can do one thing far more effectively than McCain could do in his wildest dreams: Rally the GOP base around him. That is a clear and unavoidable truth. Let's also recall that the higher road taken by Obama will most certainly NOT be taken by the GOP. I look forward to a long and unhappy rehashing of Monica-gate, travel-gate and every other scandal from the Clinton years. I almost forgot. Clinton also will have those who blame her for her vote on the Iraq war to confront. Yes, it's clear the GOP wants Clinton as the competition.

"Obama. Here's why.
The GOP is campaigning for the center and center-right. Hence, McCain. They have given up on the ultra-right.
Obama will be very easily portrayed as ultra-left. Voting record + supporters (moveon.org, Farrakhan, et al).
Clinton is campaigning for center and center-left.

there are a few fundamental flaws with your logic.
First, and this is obvious, the GOP NEVER picked McCain. McCain certainly appeals to the center more than the Right but he was not the choice of the GOP. The GOP, in case you've missed the last 2 decades, has been controlled by the far Right wing of the party. If not for Huckabee, a total and unexpected fluke in the system, Romney would be the GOP candidate.
Secondly, in his quest for much-needed support and campaign dollars (he's almost broke), McCain has dismissed, vocally and repeatedly, many of his own "centrist" policies and grovelled at the foot of the GOP Right. This list includes tough anti-immigration laws, gung-ho on Iraq, no answer for the health care crisis, NCLB remains intact, and last but NOT least: permanence for the Bush "give to the rich" tax cuts.
I have a piece of news for you: Those are NOT stances relfective of the center of this country, they reflect the Right.
Thirdly, Obama can easily be called Left wing but how does this approach work to tarnish him when the Right wing has given us: 8 years of blown budgets, spiralling deficits, unemployment, abysmal military strategy in a doomed war? Obama's core issues are: Reforming education, reforming health care (not as radical as Clinton FYI), ending the Iraq war (a winning point).
Obama also has something Hillary as yet does not: a vast legion of young voters and new voters across the United States who will be throwing their votes to the democrats. Obama doesn't need everyone, he just has to pull out his base and take along most democrats. Not a hard feat at all. He will also assuredly have some Republicans who have wearied of Bush's war and his stagnating economy.
Some of these Republicans may vote for Clinton, my bet is that most would just sit home rather than throw their votes to her. She is hated as so many have pointed out, and hated by many on the Right and in the Center. To borrow a phrase, Clinton is a "polarizing figure."
