[Read the article: Why Hillary Clinton should be winning]

You wrote: "There is strong evidence that he is a candidate winning by the rules as set out by others:"

Answer: He is winning smaller states with black majorities in caucus situations. Hillary Clinton has won the huge states that are critical and essential to winning the general election in the fall. He hasn't proven to me to be the Grand Poobah of vote-getting in the swing states. As to him "winning by the rules as set out by others", more about that later.

"1) Establishing pledged delegate advantage, critical to swaying the supers."

Answer: "Swaying the supers" is code for demanding that they support him rather than letting them vote their conscience and vote as the key states have/are voting. The whole super-delegate fisaco, btw, was created by the DNC some twenty-five or so years ago and was put in place precisely to prevent the delegates from nominating someone who can not win the general.

"2) strong ground game to get out the vote and minimize name-advantage by Clinton and powerful political machine connections."

Answer: What kind of dysfunctional reasoning is that? He should get the nomination because Hillary has better name-recognition? That simply underscores the point that he is a relative unknown to most of the voters and is paying the price for that.

"3) Developing and MAINTAINING a message that resonates with new voters and will appeal in the general election as well"

Answer: Oh, yeah, right: "Change!" Yeah, that old "change-but-we-don't-have-a-freakin'-clue-what-that-change-is" message. He should re-name his book: "The Audacity Of Hype".

"4) Playing by DNC rules established long before the first votes were cast in regards to MI and FL."

Answer: No, ma'am; he did campaign in Florida and Michigan. The Florida Republican legislature, led by Republican Governor Charlie Crist, changed the date of the primary...OVER THE OBJECTIONS OF FLORIDA DEMOCRATIC OFFICIALS! In Michigan, efforts to have a re-vote were shot down by the Obama operatives. Period.

"5) Raising huge amounts of money (over and over) without the support of many DNC deep pockets."

Answer: Oh, puh-leze! Ted Kennedy, David Geffen, et al, are hardly penniless and are certainly party stalwarts.

"If you have other evidence that supports a "gaming the system" theory please write it out. I didn't see it in your post before. Frankly, the only thing I've read from you is anger that the same, tired, threadbare politcal games aren't working...for Hillary Clinton."

Answer: Your disdain for Hillary Clinton has colored your objectivity. Barack Obama is "gaming the system" by simultaneously decrying efforts to either seat the FL and MI delegates or have a revote primarily because Hillary Clinton won both primaries by huge margins. He is terrified of letting either state have its votes counted. If he's so damned powerful, he'd welcome ALL votes being counted.

I don't have anger, I have contempt for the Obamatons and their arrogance, snideness and rudeness. And, I repeat: how does Obama plan to win in November running against the Republicans...AND, those Clinton supporters, like myself, who are disgusted by the Obama supporters, like yourself. Looks like he'll have to win over many Republicans and half the Democratic Party to win the election.

You have an answer for that one, AlecsMom?

  • The False Proposition

[Read the article: Sizing up Petraeus on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

All the chatter from the Bushites, military included, about "success in Iraq", is purely academic; the basic premise for the incursion into Iraq was a lie. All conversation not based on this canard is disingenuous at best and dishonest at worst.

Until and unless Senators Clinton, Obama, et al, hold the little webbed feet of the perpetrators to the proverbial fire, we are doomed to wander through Iraq and the Middle East blind, deaf...and, in the case of the President and his men...dumb.

Allowing the Iraq War to continue by accepting platitudes such as "the surge is working/has worked", "if we don't fight them there we'll have to fight them here" and "Al Queda and the 9/11 hijackers were in Iraq prior to 9/11", we will have succumbed to the claptrap and hooey dispensed by the Bushites and their bastardocracy brethren, the New American Century cabal.

    God damn them all!

  • Calling A Spade A Spade

    [Read the article: Holy sex!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I have always referred to those Born Agains and their sex-obsessed cohorts what they truly are: Crotch Christians. Their whole "raison d'etre" is sexually-based: masturbation, premarital sex, abortion, homosexuality/ lesbianism, provocative dress and nudity.

"Focus On The Family" is more like "Focus On The Fanny". I'd even posit that the Crotch Christian motto is "If its between the navel and the knee, its sinful for you and me!"

Our Puritan founding fathers and mothers certainly did us no favor by being so repressed sexually.

  • Sorry, Brad

[Read the article: No, Hillary Clinton shouldn't be winning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The more you shill for Barack, the less I am inclined to vote for him. I listen to his speechifyin' closely; all I hear are platitudes, grandiose fluff and vanilla pap. Specifics are hard to come by. The man is a plethora of trite and hackneyed phrases and sound-bites: "Yes, we can!", "Change!" and, my personal favorite "We can change the old way of doing things!"

I firmly believe that many if not most of his supporters have no clue what his positions are on most issues; they simply like the man and buy into whatever fluff 'n' puff he's pushing.

Keep on shoveling that manure for Barack, Brad; at least the Gen-X and Gen-Y crowd are buying it. Of course, this is the same X/Y crowd that thinks RedBull makes a great mixer with alcohol, thinks Ren & Stimpy are hilarious and believes that Jessica Simpson has talent.

Fine. Push Obama as the Democratic nominee. Let him lose. Then, let the Democrats select a candidate of substance in 2012. I suppose thats the only way the Obamatons-Dems will learn.
