Original article: When Democrats collapse

thank you, mr maher

democrats cave. it is offensive. it is embarassing.

I am glad you called Carter on it. Damn: for all the good that man does, deep down, like a solid chocolate easter bunny, carter is solid wimp. oh, he did beat up on the Jews a bit, but that makes more sense in light of his current inflammation of chronic wimp-itis with Democrat complications.

Bush IS the worst president ever. No, there can't be a worse one, ever. There might no even be another one.

Original article: Power to the people, 2.0

Getting something done while getting elected

It is good the Dean is recognized as a precursor to Edwards, and to Obama. In fact, Edwards was the more desireable and more electable candidate: does anyone NOT believe that Kerry was the GOP choice? And might it not be that Hillary is the 2008 GOP choice? She ain't no Kerry, but she can surely loose, and loose big, when the GOP opens the trap door under her, under that ground that might seem so firm.

Dean got more done, by far, than any other candidate did, including Kerry. And Dean continues to work. And draw serious lightning from the right. Now let Edwards and Obama do that same good work, and if we can resist the "manchurian" candidate, Hilary, Edwards (my choice) or Obama (my second choice ) we're gonna have us a president.

Original article: "The donkey in the room"

gore will fold

Gore should not run: he will lose. Heck, he won't even be facing Bush, and he'd lose. His best work has not been done in government. He has never been as effective as he is now

He should work to get Edwards elected and work for him. If hillary gets in, if she gets past losing to the GOP who dearlyl want her to run, Gore is dead meat. Vice president, beaten by Bush in his run for president while he ran away from his own president Bill, and now serving the ex-presidents wife? Uh uh.

Original article: I hate my cat!

kill the cat

I have to marvel at the energy directed at one lousy cat: have it killed.

Heavens!

But my assumption is that the owners are more valuable and have more to contribute to life than tending this cat. (Failing that, they could do something similar for an imaginary animal, totally instead of only paritally a creation of their own minds.)

But then maybe the don't agree, maybe they think the cat is more important than they are? Well, then, as you were.

Original article: Our favorite murderer

I don't love Tony no more

I used to. But I don't anymore. He killed too many people. And he killed them worse. He did what he needed to do and did it well. But he has to forfeit remorse at his own passing: he was not the guardian of any gate but his own.

Original article: Our favorite murderer

who did tony kill?

As to the article, did Tony kill any good guys? Hmmm, I don't think so. Heck, all of our heroes kill bad guys. And if they're not bad, they make them bad, then they kill them. They make them dance, and then when the dance isn't good enough, they kill them.

The good ones, like Tony, put up a good show.

The bad ones, like Bush, put up a bad show.

Tony never claimed god told him anything.

Between a guy like Bush and a guy like Tony, boy, who wouldn't pick Tony? Mind you, I don't want either, I want Edwards or Obama, or Hilary. But lately we haven't had much of a choice.

And I think I'd take Tony over Gore: Gore's good, but he can't win and if he did he can't govern.

Tony won, Tony governed.

Original article: Bush's European disaster

stealing wheelbarrows

that guy who comes out of the uranium plant each day with a wheelbarrow of dirt that is fruitlessly searched for contraband: he's stealing wheelbarrows.

thus, the missle shield: Bush is stealing money in large amounts (hundred's of billions, says the writer)

if beauty can be it's own excuse for being, hell, money can do quite well too. Making sense of the missle shield is a fools errand.

Bush. is. stealing. money.

He is stealing money.

And he is giving it to people who, if they didn't already like him, sure do like him now! You can't fool all of the people all of the time, but you certainly can buy a goodly portion.

thank you for exposing joe klein

thank you. these guys really ought to be full of shame for being so much in the pocket of their owners. or maybe joe is just jealous of, oh, what's his name, that guy that did so well with watergate and then wrote that fawning "bush at war". yuuuuck.

these guys get all soft and mushy as soon as one of their own goes down. otherwise, they feel no pain at all. certainly none for the people.

"perjury" indeed! I mean, heck, it's not as if he were "guilty" of "murder"! like the "other people" in "jail"!

Original article: Nixon knows best

bush: the next nixon?

in resurecting nixon, will some writer later resurect bush? will bush be credited for seeing the coming clash with islam and bringing it to them before it was too late? will he be credited with an energy policy that finally raised the price of energy in the US to its true cost? seen the importance of forcing stem cell research into a far richer supply than just harvested human embroyos?

shares of Mr. McGoo, of Chauncey Gardiner.

Emily D said today makes yesterday mean. This writer says that sufficiently removed, today makes the suffering of yesterday irrelevant.

I suppose it won't be too long before the benefits of the holocaust come to fore, how the Germans advanced technology, modern warfare, tested the limits and were actually prescient in what the race would need to face in population control.

Really. Writers that yank us around like we were all taking Werner's est training, but badly twisted towards yet another opinion, not towards and personal responsibility in the present.
