Original article: No more whining excuses

An inconsistent convenience?

From the article, Joe says,

"From the beginning, the only relevant question was whether the networks would uphold decent values. Under pressure of conscience or commerce or both, NBC and CBS did the right thing -- and sent a refreshing message that all the excuses in the world cannot change."

Now, does this mean that MTV is next?

Original article: A tale of two horrors

Quite a stretch...

I've come to expect little of realistic responsibility from the left, and this writer certainly does not disappoint on that count. I would say in his defense, tho, I admire the gentle soul that seems eminate from the gentleman.

The problem is the usual from leftist writers; A total disregard for the truth of matters. The Iraqi war was exceedingly legal, popularly supported, and approved by the UN. US Democrats, as usual, turned tail when the going got rough and blamed someone else for the problems. Responsible people admit failures (of intelligence in this case) and keep going. There IS a future to be considered here, and cut & running will simply produce more warfare & more deaths. What we owe to the Iraqis is a chance for them to have a future too - and that means stick it out.

Original article: America is not Bush

Sidney is not America either.

Thank goodness America is not Sidney Blumenthal. This guy's Bush hatred is incredible; and he is dangerous. Like Clinton, he seriously underestimates & denies the threat that America faces from terrorists. In a world of disappearing nuclear material, and advanced chemical & biological weapons, he can not come to grips with the idea that a few mad people can kill millions of us. With writers like this guy, who needs the Neville Chamberlains of the world?

Original article: America is not Bush

Clinton inaction on Terrorists

ukfan162...

What I remember most about the Clintons leaving the White House is not a warning about Al Quaida, but about how they trashed and robbed it. However, I am sure that in briefings Clinton mentioned Al Quaida... he had excellent reason to; Please read on.

The History you choose to ignore is, that Clinton had the chance to kill Osama with a Hellfire missle from a spy drone flying overhead (1997); When requested, he denied permission. Additionally, Clinton took no action (2000) when the USS Cole was bombed. Also, Clinton took no action (1993) when the World Trade Center was first attacked. Lastly, Clinton took no action (1998) when our Embassies were bombed in Tanzania & Kenya. Bush took office in January of 2001; I suppose you believe that the 9/11 attack was conceived, planned, and executed all after Clinton left office? Better get your facts straight, bud, if you want to play with the big boys.

(Sigh) Another PC article about Climate change.

I am sure Ms Pelosi can do no wrong; this is the Liberal mantra. However, Climate change, and reaction to such, can be serious business and have a serious impact on Business - we need to get the hyperventilating politically correct leftist politicians out of the way so that serious assessment can take place.

Climate change has been happening for millennia and is (surprise!) happening now. For all you elite liberals, you didn't discover it, invent it, or define it in any way. You have, however, intimidated sober discussion and review of what's going on, and prevented rational review.

Before you go hyper about someone avoiding your thought control, and actually thinking, try reading a little history about the world. You will find that climate change CONTINUOUSLY HAPPENS. The question to ask is, what is so special, or different, about now? Is there ANYTHING special about now? For a rational assessment, that would be a good starting point.

Original article: The NAACP's sad decline

NAACP seduced by general liberalism

I remember when the NAACP was a positive, focused force in American society. It appears to me that back in the 70's, it got caught up in the general "everybody's a victim" mentality of the Carter years, and stayed entangled in that general liberal victim mentality. If the organization could get back to basics, ie, advancing the state of colored people, (I know, not politically correct, but it is in the name) it would have worth again.

Original article: The three stooges

Mr. Blumenthal is quite amusing...

This writer Blumenthal never fails to amuse; 20 minutes of drama, and then "Tune in next week to see how the bad guys can be even more bad!!!" Right out of a 50's radio whodunit.

This guy is certainly not much of a journalist - if the word " if " did not exist he would not have any basis for making any of his charges. Keep on going, Democrats, the election is coming. Hate politics and the Big Lie work for a while, but sooner or later you are going to have to do something.

Tuesday, August 21, 2007 10:30 AM

This is good; Please keep it going!

Boy, it takes a liberal to really tell the Big Lie. Now granted, this is an Elite type discussing internal Democratic politics, but Ms Walsh should at least get basic facts right (right at the getgo, she blasts Bush popularity - Totally ignoring the Democratic Congress' "greater than Bush" negative popularity as a problem). One item in her story... Pres Carter... In fact, he was universally detested. MS Walsh must have been asleep at the time, or too young to remember. The other distortions and/or lies just go on and on. I'll leave em' there.

This long-time Republicans's bottom line: The Republican party is handing you the 2008 election because we drifted away from conservative values, morals, and principles. We have rebuilding to do, and a woodshed to be put to use. Then we will get our Party back on track, and start winning elections.

Frankly, tho, if you Democrats keep going to the hard left, we won't have to work very hard at all to start winning elections. Your Soros Billions, hate messaging, and socialism does not register well with the American majority and when we compete on the issues, I believe we will win. So, Please keep it going!
