[Read the article: Expel, expelling, expelled!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I have no problem with the theory of natural selection and accept it as fact. evolution is in no way "progressive" when mated to natural selection and its appeal is to the "survival of the fittest" meme, which the ruling class just adores, because it means that they are the best and everyone else deserves the position of serving their needs, although we conceal that from the commons and proles as much as we can when diseducation fails.
I see that you are a believer in the big bang, a derisive jocular term attached to a questionable theory and the proof of which is a background radiation which may or may not be it's echoes although it is most certain sold as if it were that echo. Bouncing off of what?
So the "Universe" began 13.7 Billion years ago, eh?
Why?
Well we can see to its edge and that is 13.7 billion light years away and that is how long that light took to get here so that is how old the universe is.
So, 13.7 Billion years ago, when the universe was the size of a pin point, it also was 13.7 Billion Light Years in radius and for 13.7 Billion Years it has been expanding.
If the universe was expanding at the speed of light, which if far too fast, would it not take 13.7 BILLION YEARS to go from a radius of NIL to a radius of 13.7 BILLION LIGHT YEARS, assuming the maximum possible speed?
One instant there was nothing and then there was a "universe" with a three space diameter of 13.7 BILLION LIGHT YEARS in the blink of an eye which we are seeing a reflection of in the noise pattern at the range of our ability to gather and measure light.
You find that credible?
What part of Genesis do you find incredible?
I am not a nihilist, I am just not as stupid as most.
Three space and four space are traditional models of space time and they are based on putting blocks of stone together to make Greek temples. Our thinking hasn’t evolved too much during the interim. Three and four space are models suitable for monkeyboys.
Dimensionality is not limited by three of four variables - not length, width, depth, nor time, are adequate to describe an object or a process.
Universe is for children and apes. Infinite poly-verse or multi-verse is my model. DNA is a "handle" on a higher dimensional process which is not perceivable at this time.
It is like flatland only the number of dimensions does not stop becuase each "spatial" dimension is a slice of the higher one - line, plane, cube hypercube and how many can even imagine what the hypercube is a slice of?
Instead of dimensions, think of them as variables. How many variables can one process and how many variables describe an object of say an automobile? That isn't all, how many variables describe the process of the automobile, the roads, the fuels, the consumables, etc.
The number of dimensions and variables just keeps getting bigger the more you look.
I am no NIHILIST!
I am an INFINITIST!
You are perceiving and thinking backwards which is how Corporate America wants you to think.
Carl Sagan's Cosmos destroyed my faith in scientists - it was all those close ups - must of been billions of them.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Extinctin is recorded, demonstrable and a fact. Evolution is not. You appendix is an evolutionary adaption or a devolutionary screw up? Is it a new and novel structure or is it a structure which no longer works?
Show me one new novel structure that has taken a life form upwards on the road of complexity that has taken place in human history through natural selection, not breeding or genetic engineering. Please feel free to respond after the big bang collapses back down to a singularity and bangs again.
No human being back then? Why? Because we have no bones of them? How many skeletons of the T-Rex are there that have been found? There must have been millions of them so what are the odds of finding them?
What are the odds of finding the fossilized remains of a mammal or person 100 million years old? How many species have we not found fossils for? Speaking of mammals, how does a lizard decide to grow mammaries and give birth to live young with a placenta, no shell and a craving for mother's milk by accident and mutation when all such mutations have to occur during the smae time frame to make it work?
I saw evolutionists demonstrate that gills evolved into wings on a pbs show. A whole lot of very specific mutation errors have to go at it for a long time to get a wing that will work and be beneficial, but evolution is patient, and who cares if a bug has to grow and drag around proto wings for hundreds of thousands of generations before they hit the right screw up that will make that bug fly?
No i am not a troll, trolls do not respond to argument or question and hardly think at all. Being a troll, they have to believe in evolution so it gives them something to look forward to but really they are just part of devolution.
When i was a child, cars did not have power steering and air conditioning and then one day they did - EVOLUTION!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]That is correct. Evolution is the moral excuse for Social Darwinism.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenics
Evolution says its ok and natural.
Cooperation and not destroying your ecosystem has a lot more to do with survival than competition and evolving which are economic and human social models, not biological ones.
