[Read the article: Why do conservatives really find the Obama campaign "scary"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]They find them disturbing because they remind them of themselves and they do not like it and they do not wish to admit it and are feeling very conflicted every time they see that Obamoid type which bears a very close resemblance to the Reaganoid and Bushoid type. It's like meeting a doopleganger - very creepy.

Please stop calling it the "Israel Lobby"
[Read the article: The Iran hawks' latest surge]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It is the defense industry - the warbuckers, who are using that country and that problem of religion in the "holy land" to sell war and military hardware for no reason other than making money off of death, destruction and misery.
Anyone who thinks that these corporations have any religion or connection with the race of humanity is a fool.
It was a great marketing tool, but the customer is bankrupt.
Russia is the problem now because they back Iran. So does China, but since they OWN us. SSHHHHHHH! don't let any american suckers know they have been had, sold out and laughed at by con artists who would have a hard time conning someone with a three digit IQ.

These Biotech MORONS will KILL US ALL!!!!
[Read the article: The super-bollworm cometh]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The only way we can save ourselves is to make each and every person involved in the manufacture of chimeras or mods that produce harmful results LIABLE for MONETARY DAMAGES caused by their mischief.
But first we would have to get rid of congress since CORPORATE BRIBES, are more important than screwing up the entire ecosystem.
All those bees dying off? Shouldn't Monsanto be held liable? Put them out of business and maybe the other nutjobs will stop and think for once.
The last episode of the ABC show Dinosaurs may be exactly what our future holds. One last straw and then we are screwed.

[Read the article: The super-bollworm cometh]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Evolution is the progression of simpler forms to more complex forms via the means of natural selection of variation and mutations.
Variation, change and mutation only imply evolution because that is what they told you.
Natural selection is demonstrable. Evolution is not. if anything, devolution is demonstrative and extinction is certainly provable and both account for the pruning of the "evolutionary" tree just as much as natural selection is.
Evolution is a religion of capitalism, marxism and fascism and can be summed up as survival of the fittest as a competition.
Life is more complex than that. Like why do molecules move around and perform tasks as if they were driven automatons? Where is the software, where is the mechanism, and where is that which makes it work? that is far deeper than natural selection. before that can play, a high level of complexity and behavior has to be achieved, and that from just raw materials.
i am not a creationist, but i consider evolutionists to be no different. same body, different suit. nothing religious about not being able to perceive certain things and knowing it.
no one has ever seen evolution happen. that means it is faith. so is the big bang and it is flat out wrong too.

a qualification
[Read the article: The super-bollworm cometh]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]societies evolve, social structures and behaviors evolve, and technologies evolve, which is why we tend to project those things onto biology.
in the core of stars, matter evolves, then stops and manmade elements take up the slack.
but unless this is an underlying generalized principle, then it cannot be applied to life, because if it is then it begs the question, why do we not see it and why are there so many animals and plants that over the course of millions of years have not fundamentally changed. And if you believe in an underlying generalized principle then that sound like another label for the "God" thing. evolution sounds like a capricious flighty thing that allegedly only strikes 10 or 12 thousand years ago when nobody was looking and then only picks on a selective group of subjects.
put some wings on a pig, call that evolution and i'll buy it for a dollar.
it will not be nature, it will be the lab.

Yip Yip! Arf Arf!
[Read the article: Tucker Carlson unintentionally reveals the role of the American press]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Tucker Carlson is a sycophantic corporate lapdog.
Sycophantic is the way polite people say ass-kissing.
I don't think he has the stones to be a warmongerer, but oh you show hime the backside of a defense contractor and his eyes will light up, his ears perk up, he will start to drool and his tail will wag. In other words, he is a credit to his profession. He and the Discovery Channel are why i enjoy not having cable.
